Ive had treats from here before but never been in. We were graciously offered free samples - of the lychee lemonade (incredible! Really elevates the sweet/tart lemonade style) and the guava donut and a strawberry one i think. So of course we had to go in! I got the dubai chocolate one for my mom and she looooved it! It was a good size too. We also got to generously try the banana cream one - its filled with like banana pudding with a nilla crumb coating. my friend and i wolfed it down!! My husband got the vietnamese coffee and my friend got the lychee lemonade. They both loved their drinks. The people are soooo so nice and welcoming. I told my parents they should stop by too. Its small, not really for hanging out but there was a table. Definitely need to come back: highly recommend!!
Love supporting small pastry shops. Stop by Knead Donuts to satisfy your sweet cravings! Parking: They're located in one of the busiest plazas in Cerritos. There's a large parking lot, but finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: This is a quick grab-n-go location, so there's no indoor or outdoor seating. I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't as busy. They have a small space. The donuts are displayed behind a glass window with labels and prices. Service: We were greeted once we entered. The cashier that assisted us was nice, quick, and efficient. Pastries: It was tempting not to order every single donut. Their donuts are sweet yet delicious. It's perfect enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. I also tried their croissants drenched in a glaze. It was sooo good! I didn't try their coffee, so I'll have to come back hehe. Pricing: Decent prices for unique donuts and other sweet pastries. Highly recommend visiting here to satisfy your sweet tooth!
*****3.5 stars***** Finally had a chance to check out Knead Donuts, and TBH, thought the donuts here for the most part were just okay. Definitely the most expensive donuts I've bought, and for the price, I thought the donuts would amaze me (especially given the great reviews). I like the fact that they can split a dozen donuts into two boxes of six, which comes out a little cheaper; however, most of the donuts are an upcharge, so I ended up spending $68 for a dozen donuts (not $58). I tried the banana cream donuts and if it wasn't for the banana slices in the middle, I would have thought this was a plain donut with frosting. I also tasted some of the glaze donut, which was also just okay. These donuts look super sweet, but I'm glad they weren't. Would I go back? Maybe for a donuts or two depending on flavors, but definitely wouldn't buy more next time around.
Heard about this place from social media and decided to give it a try. I have been on a hunt for a phenomenal Cronut/doissant in California and I have finally found it! Coming into the little shop I was greeted with politeness. The employee was super sweet. I had told her it was my first time and she so kindly gave me a free croissant. The croissant was flakey and delicious! The glaze on the top was thin and not too sweet. The cookies and cream one was very good. The cream in the middle was not too sweet. My daughter is a huge Dubai chocolate fan and loved the doughnut. She couldn't stop eating! The Cronut was my favorite. I was so happy to finally find a decent Cronut in this state! This is for sure going to be my go to for a Cronut!
Yummy .... Sugar rush indeed. I think this is a new Location. They are known for fancy, cronut type, fancy donuts. Each cost about $6-7 dollars on average but I got the 6 pack for $32. Prob the most expensive donuts I've ever bought. Tasty but definitely a treat. My fav is the guava flavor. Located in the large strip mall across the street from Cerritos mall. Parking can be tricky on high times, but I found one lucky. I'd go back to the other flavors.
I've been meaning to try Knead and I'm so glad I did! The Vietnamese coffee is AMAZING with the taro cream, it's a very strong tasty flavor! The donut is also yummy and not that sweet! I loved the service he was very helpful with helping me choosing a donut which was "there's no wrong answer" I didn't notice but he also gave me two extra tiny donut holes The place is small but has two tables if it's not busy you can sit down. There's also some seating outside since it's a plaza! Will be coming back!
Been meaning to try this place out after seeing a post on Facebook. Finally stopped by today. This place is smaller, you walk in and the counter is a few feet in front of you. There was 2 tiny tables to sit and eat at. Inside was clean and donut displayed was neatly organized. So many to choose from it was hard to decide, we ended up with fruity pebbles and maple bacon. The maple bacon one had a syrup dispenser thingy poked into it and you squeeze your syrup when you are ready to eat it . To my surprise they weren't overly sweet, which I'm glad they weren't. Based on the way they looked I thought both would be really sweet. I was a little disappointed in the donut dough itself. Although both tasted good, I am used to donuts being very light and airy, but these seem more of like cake texture. They are a the pricey side , it's $5-7 a donut . The staff was very friendly and patient as we decided which ones we wanted. We do want to go back to try the kronut.
This is such a cute hidden gem donut shop right around the cerritos mall complex! Donut is so pretty and delish and it smells devine inside the shop! I got the ube donut for $8 and the lady gave me a free little croissant so service was 10/10! They also have some samples for one of the kind idk which one. Will be back, so many trendy and delish flavors to try :) 9.5/10
I remember back when this place only had one location! It's great to see this place with a shop in Cerritos and two in Long Beach now Parking is in a shared parking lot, but they do have plenty. But this area is filled with a bunch of restaurants. So during lunch time it can be hard to find one As soon as you walk in you are always greeted by the lovely staff The donuts are on the expensive side, and there's so many great ones to pick from. So it adds up quick lol. Each one will run you about 5-8 dollars Also, I'm such a sucker for their robot that goes around and gives out free samples (who doesn't like free samples??) Rosie (yes, the robot has a name) was unfortunately inside because the staff said it was raining earlier in Cerritos. So they brought her inside and plugged her in. Don't worry, Rosie! I'll come back For you. Their donuts really are aesthetically pleasing AND they taste great (I recommend any of their kronuts) I went with Banana cream pie . I don't need to say anything else. A 10/10 An Ube donut Tiramisu donut And the fresh fruit kronut All were delicious, but if I had to pick, I'd go with the banana one Honestly, there wasn't a lot to pick from. They didn't have a huge variety like i remember at the Long Beach locations. Or it could have been because I came around 1 pm and maybe most were sold out. I did end up taking the last Ube and the last banana donut Also, love their Vietnamese coffee. I used to get it all the time before I cut back on caffeine All the flavors here are amazing The store is very clean I love that it's family owned and locally owned and operated. I always see the owner at the shops. So I love they are hands on Come on in and see how delicious the donuts are and try their coffee! They also had signs all over saying how much they love their dogs and they work hard so their dog can have a better life. If you like dogs, then you definitely get bonus points in my book
There's so many donut options to choose from, something for everyone really. My fav thing to get is definitely the sausage and cheese breakfast croissant with a fried egg. The owner and employees here are so nice and give great recommendations. A nice lil donut shop with some seating and plenty of shopping near by.
I love Knead donuts and the lemon poppyseed old fashioned is exceptional. They have a robot with samples of one or two favorites. Opens at 8am. I have gone to this Cerritos location 3-4 times. My sister signed me up for their loyalty program, and there are constant specials texted to me. There isn't much of a seating area, as my first visit I did eat inside with my sister. Every visit I've had very pleasant customer service. Parking is shared with a dozen other businesses, so I always worry where I'll park, yet I've always found a spot near by. They have traditional cake donuts, breakfast sandwiches on croissants, cronuts, and specialty donuts. So not so much traditional glazed, chocolate bars, or maple donuts. This is a more magical, fun premium sort of offering. Exactly why I'm their customer. read more

Walked in to pick up a phone order & ended up buying some donuts. They're all so pretty & presentable that I couldn't resist! The guy working was really nice & super chill. Not to mention, I love how peaceful it is when they first open. Overall, I think it's a great place for a quick bite or maybe just to satisfy a sweet tooth!!! read more

I'd like to support a local business and want to try donuts here. I went there in the evening. Not many flavors left. Donuts are yummy and still fresh. I got tiramisu, crème brûlée and mermaid. They are on a pricey side but pretty decoration and taste good. The staff is nice and friendly. Will go back to try different flavors. read more

If you're looking for an "elevated" donut (not the regular/classics), you have a sweet tooth or just want a good breakfast sandwich, this is your spot. The location was nice and clean. The donuts were displayed nicely in front and looked pretty fresh. I believe I spoke to the owner, and he was a friendly, cool guy. He insisted I do the half dozen (I did), and he even included some complimentary "cronut holes" (croissant/donut). That was a nice gesture, especially after getting the bill. I didn't ask the price of the half dozen, but for that and two breakfast sandwiches, be prepared to spend at least $30-40. The flavor selection was good. The donuts were good. They are very rich and sweet, IMO - I'd visit here periodically because the sugar load is a lot! The breakfast sandwiches were large and hot. I'd visit more for the breakfast sandwiches. I also appreciate their branding and packaging which you can tell incorporates some of their culture into the design. Everything was good. Owner was cool. I will visit again. read more

ive been wanting to visit either the cerritos or the LB location for awhile. welp, i am so glad i went to the cerritos location! knead donuts is cambodian founded shop. cerritos is their second location! known for their creative and unique donuts first of all!! there is a robot rolling around offering samples! wild!! but impressive, never seen anything like it. walking into knead donuts, first impressions, its on the smaller side but these donuts!!!! im such a sucker for beautiful desserts :D there are a few table and chairs inside its a very clean store and the gal was so friendly and attentive i ordered: fruity pebbles tiramsu i enjoyed both, the fruity pebbles topping were on the stale side, but i feel like its expected as they were just out and about lol the tiramsu tho!!!! YUMMY , the frosting was buttery and the donut was nice and fluffy parking: located in the cerritos promenade, parking can be frustrating, smaller spots. i always try to park far far away and walk. knead donuts is over by starbucks! read more

5/5 first time experience visiting Knead Donuts. Shop is in the same plaza as Target, Starbucks, etc. It's located right next to Starbucks. Parking can suck depending on when you go. Ended up here on a morning walk and let's just say the walk was worth it. Staff was really friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. I wanted to get a box worth of donuts, but I really only ever eat 1 at most. Ended up getting their strawberry crunch donut and a guava cream cronut. I had pointed out the cronut holes that they had when we walked in since I had never seen a place do that before and she threw a few in for us for free! If the other donuts are as good as the ones we got, then they'll all hit the spot. Definitely need to come back to try the other donuts. read more

This is a cute little donut shop on 7th street conveniently located to schools and hospital with easy parking. The service is fast and friendly and they even gave me a sample to try out their Tiger Tail Donut. The zombie iced coffee is delicious and strong! A few sips and you'll feel your vessels dilate and feel the kick and even palpitations if you're sensitive to caffeine. I haven't tried the delicious donuts including the s'mores and strawberry shortcake but they're so pretty I feel like I wouldn't want to eat it even if they do look so scrumptious. read more

Came here on a whim, just curious... They are extremely warm and friendly and I ended up buying an assortment of donuts on Black Friday. They did not last one day at my house, my family smashed the whole box, happily! The doughnuts were light but chewy, not dense at all. The best texture you want. The highlights were the glazed croissants, tiger tails,, and my favorite was the German chocolate cake donut. There's alot of mediocre donuts spots but this one is legit! Also, don't forget to try their Vietnamese coffee. A bit on the pricey side, seven doughnuts for over $30. I will continue to support small businesses and will definitely be back. read more
Yesss! Knead picked Cerritos as their next location to open and I am so excited. I've been twice since they opened. First time the selection was few so I was a bit concerned honestly only because I had been to their Long Beach location where the options were plentiful and honestly, remarkable. Today when I went back it was much closer to what I expected! At least twice as menu options as the photos I posted. This chocolate ganache with baileys donut is the one I got today! So good. They're a little pricey but worth it imo. read more
I come to Starbucks next door all the time and saw them remodeling this location and there it is a donut shop.... Bought a few had a croissant and I ate the old fashion lemon.... Very nice people though a bit pricey but the donuts are big and really good... Shared with other patrons of Starbucks.... Come by and try this new place... Super duper new place that just opened up! Got there around 5:30pm so there were still some options, but looks like they were mainly working on stocking for dinner dessert time. The options looked really good, especially their maple one. The cronut holes were eh. Because they're smaller, they were much denser and hard. Price is okay for those kinds of donuts. Ah! I can't believe this place has finally opened up near me. I've visited the Long Beach location before and wished that there was one in the Lakewood/Cerritos area. Lo and behold one was opened up! Located in a shopping complex filled with lots of other food options and where parking is at a premium. Depending on when you come, parking could be a hassle to find. I recommend coming early in the morning and grabbing your donuts then. Also, this will help minimize their running out of some favorites like the Tiger Tail. They have a variety of options, at most maybe 10 different types, with enough to satisfy virtually any sweet tooth or donut cravings. I highly recommend the Creme Brulee and the Tiger Tail. The Tiger Tail is a glaze and chocolate twist that is not too chocolatey. While the creme brulee, with the vanilla filling, is to die for. read more

I'm always down for good donuts. I'm kind of a purist and don't really go for the type with tons of toppings but this place has it all. It's a cute little shop that had so many beautifully decorated treats on display. It was almost 8 on a Friday night and I was happy to see they were still serving HOT DONUTS! The first thing that caught my eye were the butter croissants drizzled in their donut glaze - I mean, whattttt???? They looked so golden and yummy. When the young lady at the counter told me that they we're fresh from the oven, it was a done deal. I also grabbed a "Tiger Tail" also still warm. It is large twist donut of glaze and chocolate cake donut together! My heart was racing at this point because I couldn't get back to my car fast enough! The ladies there were so sweet and helpful. I live in West LA but would definitely make the drive to Cerritos for these scrumptious goodies. Small shops like this are the best - I could taste the love and care put into every single bite. read more

The donuts were amazing, they are more of a gourmet vibe so understandably come with the price tag. It was 2 for $13, and I'd say well worth it! Definitely would return! The flavors were amazing & carried through. They were both nice & fluffy & enjoyable. The man working the counter was really nice too! read more
I really liked these donuts. While the price was steep, upon taking a bite, I realized these were not typical donuts. I really love the cronut with the red and pink swirl on top. The blueberry donut was also very delicious. This was a definite treat. read more

This is probably some of the BEST customer service that I have ever encountered. Of course I will be returning for the donuts and croissant sandwiches (delicious) BUT the customer service is what is really be drawing me back... Long story short I was having a bad morning, I was supposed to be going to Starbucks to do my work, I stopped in Knead to get a sandwich... while I was waiting the sweet woman asked if I wanted a donut because they just came out and they were hot... of course I accepted . The first bite WAS AMAZING, melted in my mouth literally. That really made my morning so much better. Thank you , if you are reading this. Also the man offered to let me do my work in there, which was so kind but my friend wanted to meet at Starbucks next door (she sucks) ... but thank you so much ! I highly recommend this place. They have a great selection of donuts . read more
One of the best gourmet donuts I've tried. My favorite is their cronuts which they make very well. The service is amazing and they have this little robot outside their store that has samples of their donuts. The worker inside the bakery showed us what type of flavors they had for the day. Once you walk in, you're immediately greeted by the gourmet donuts which is amazing. There isn't any seating inside the bakery, but there is some seating a couple of shops down by the fountain. read more

Unique donuts. $80+ for trying 1 of almost everything. The butter croissant was 2 for 5. The lady was nice and she even gave me extras to try. I bought for someone's bday. Mostly for take out since no chairs inside or outside to sit. You can chill at the SB (starbucks) next door. Great marketing for being next to a Sb since coffee and donuts go well together. read more
Butter croissant 10/10, strawberry croissant 8/10, crème brulle 6/10 I wish it was more filling but I loved how thick it was, peach cobbler 9/10, guava cronut 10/10 so good! Blue berry 7/10, strawberry crunch 8/10. They're coming out with the cinnamon crunch and tres leches and I'm so excited to try those. Definitely recommend a carrot cake one probably be the best. We got 8 donuts and got a free Vietnamese coffee. My bf is a donut fanatic and thought they could be a bit more moist. I'd say this is a very donut pastry place, not like old school donuts like mom& pop but beautiful tasty donuts. And I loved how nice the workers were. read more

Came in at around 8:30 in the morning and there was no one there. There were also those bots outside giving out samples which was pretty cool. I came in, and I was greeted and helped out right away. I wasn't sure if he was the owner but he was really helpful. I was standing there trying to figure out what I wanted and he guided me and told me what were the most popular donut flavors. I ended up getting the blueberry and tiger's tail which were bomb btw!! After, he offered me a complimentary fresh glazed donut and some cronuts to try and those were my favorite. Donuts were amazing and the guy who helped me was very kind. This will be one of my go to donut spots. read more
This is the 3rd location that I know of and the donuts are just as consistently delicious! So many delicious flavors to choose from and not to mention they are social media worthy in looks!! Staff is absolutely fantastic, so friendly. Clean spot with no indoor seating but there's some outdoor seating for the shared space. read more

Came back this morning because I had a hankering for a donut. I get a craving maybe once every month or two for just one donut. Anyway, since I was in the area I stopped by to get a donut for today and possibly tomorrow. I was helped by someone who might have been the owner. He was super friendly so we chatted for a very brief moment. Anyway, when I mentioned the points in passing he told me that the information I received was not correct and that the points from all three locations can be combined. I'm not sure what is what at this point but I wanted to update my review to reflect this. Overall, I still feel like knead is a solid donut shop and I would recommend it to others. They make really pretty creations and even though I only got plain donuts, I can see the care and craftsmanship in everything they put out. I picked up a couple of breakfast items today (a croissant and the.... I forget what the name of the French toast thing is). Was a tiny bit bummed that the croissant left an aftertaste in my mouth and wasn't as good as what I was hoping. It wasn't nasty, it just didn't hit the way that I wanted. Looks wise, it was a very beautiful croissant. That said, I'm not overwhelmed with joy by my overall experience but I'm not underwhelmed either. So I'll just settle on "whelmed" (). At minimum, the staff here seems very, very friendly and that's something you want to experience first thing in the morning. One last bummer is that my points from the other Knead I visited last week (see previous review) did not transfer here. Apparently they are the same business but under different ownership which means two different points systems. This didn't factor into my number of stars, I just wanted to make you, dear reader, aware just in case you weren't. All in all, would I return? Absolutely! Who "kneads" donuts? I do!!! Those who know me are well aware that I am a donut eater! They are probably my favorite food of all-time! I can eat them 3 times a day if my health allowed me too. I heard about Knead Donuts after finding them on Yelp. Was searching for donut shops that I have not visited in the area, and Knead Donuts in Cerritos appeared on the page. Found them in the same strip mall that California Fish Grill is located. Parking was completely packed in the area that the shop was located. So, I parked in the Target parking lot and walked on over. Was greeted nicely right away by the crew. Shop is small. No place to sit at in order to eat the donuts you purchase. When I arrived this afternoon, they had about a dozen donut flavors to choose from. They did not have the classic donut flavors of Mom and Pop donut shops. The donuts that Knead makes are more gourmet. Very creative and beautifully made donuts, and they are priced at gourmet prices as well. Definitely higher end. I purchased two donuts to share with my wife. The Lemon Old Fashion Donut tasted alright to me. Can definitely taste the lemon flavor. Wifey liked the crunch of the donut as well. 3.5 stars for this donut of theirs. The Cronut was my other purchase. It was fresher, and it was one of the better cronuts that I've tried anywhere. Would definitely purchase this donut again. 4 stars for their Cronut. It won't be the first time I stop by Knead Donuts. Look forward to trying more of their creative donut concoctions. Will need to bring my nieces as well. I'm sure they would like the donuts, and I'm certain they would want to try the drink options here as well. Will be back! read more
