The Medieval Banquet at Knappogue Castle was great. The setting, service, food and entertainment were all excellent.

Our tour group had our own area to ourselves, which made it easier to hear each other. The performers worked very hard! They greeted us, served us drinks, seated us, brought us food, and entertained us! A couple from our group became the king/queen for our contingent. The castle had very modern toilets! My wife and I came on a tour for the dinner show. Regular menu was smoked salmon on top of a small salad, tomato soup, and baked chicken with roasted vegetables (carrots and turnips) and mashed potatoes with gravy. No complaints with food and they were very accommodating for vegetarians and food allergies, etc. The entertainment was very good also and they did a fantastic job. read more
