However, this is a pretty decent sized shopping centre, probably the largest in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide. There is a pretty decent variety of shops, and they have also spruced the entrance up a bit as well, including moving the cinema entrance outside of the shopping centre. Oh, and there is also a bus station that sends buses directly to the city along the O-Bahn, which actually makes the journey pretty quick (when some idiot doesn't decide to drive down it that is). Back in those days it was a fair bit smaller than the the multi-hall extravaganza it is today. With a number of extensions and the odd facelift, TTP has been surpassed by Marion as the city's second shopping destination, but it will always be higher on the list to me! Living north of the city sees me visiting TTP more often than I used to, and although I still prefer the trek into Rundle Mall, I find that almost all I need can be found out there. Plenty of shops on offer, plus a pretty decent food court with a number of options, keeps me entertained and fulfilled on each visit. Because it is spread over a fair distance (not to mention the mini-plaza that houses Toys R Us and a number of other major shopping sites), you can find yourself copping some pretty sore quads on a shopping excursion, especially if you are comparing prices, deals or are just indecisive like me! In reality, Town is by far a better choice, but if you live out that way and can't be stuffed with the hassle and the parking (not to mention save a bit of petrol money) then TTP is just fine.

Well situated on a…read morecorner road, with a good range of businesses, anchored by a Wollworths supermarket it has everything you could want if you were a local resident. There is a cafe, newsagent, chemist, bottle shop, baker, credit union ATM and a chicken shop among others. The car parking is well laid out with a central pedestrian walkway so you can park and then walk easily to the front door. of the mall. Now that the trees are starting to mature, during summer there are also some shady parks to be had.

This department store is no where near as nice as Myers with its appearance but the prices are so cheap that its almost a discount store. There seems to be regular sales on everything from bedding, shoes, clothes and kitchenwares. I went looking for flat white shoes and I did find them in an orderly size pile, and yes they were on sale. In fact I ended up with 3 new pairs of shoes as a woman never has enough. I enjoyed walking around the store surveying products and will be back soon enough for another bargain. The line up for purchase was a bit long and frustrating, and interesting to note that they no longer have a dedicated returns/query counter and one must wait in the purchase line.

The place has a pretty weird layout - a small cluster of shops at one end, then a long corridor of empty stores before you get to the other cluster of shops. The walk between the shops is long enough to make you feel somewhat uncomfortable about being there - as if you're walking through a construction site and missed all the 'do not enter' signs. There are a few stores in here which seem to be still functioning but I have yet to see open, all rather puzzling.

Newly opened in Mawson Lakes, Blush Boutique sell a range of younger womens's clothes, especially…read morefor going out at night or to town. It is never very busy, as Mawson doesn't actually have a sopping centre or strip, you more need to wander around and source out these shops. There is nice stuff in there, although I have seen much of it online for a lot cheaper.. Not much competition around, only Wicked on the next corner, have a browse if you are in the area.
