Lamont, the owner, does my hair -- he uses Paul Mitchell products and is also a Paul Mitchell product trainer. His partner, Carlos helps with appointments, supplies, etc. If you're lucky you'll get to see Lamont and Carlos' two tiny, very prissy but friendly dogs passing through. I explained to her that I need somebody who's proficient in cutting short hair, and she quickly fit me in her schedule. I felt at ease almost immediately. She asked me what I was looking for, I shared with her the picture and she immediately told me what products she was going to be using. She explained every step of the highlights and checked in with me regularly to make sure that this is what I have envisioned. While I was waiting for my highlights, I also overheard other hair stylists in the salon communicating with clients in the same manner. I appreciated the detailed explanations and overall friendly attitude. I was looking for a white highlights with cool tones. It turned out exactly how I was hoping. The haircut was also excellent. I've had so many stylists who are not comfortable with cutting short hair, but with Miranda I felt I was in the hands of a professional. I would highly recommend her salon to anybody. Obviously I give her 5 stars, but this is the cutest little modern salon, and all the stylists are very talented in their own niche way. Brittany is known for extensions, she is remarkable. There is an esthetician and a lash artist, and some ladies who specialize in all shades of color, from my gray-covering warm brown to all colors of the rainbow. I love their salon products of choice- amika, my new personal hair miracle. You can schedule appointments online, but when you call everyone is always so helpful and friendly.
