But here's where the experience gets bad... drinks tasted like juice, and the lines for ordering drinks were a complete disaster! It took about 30 mins to get a drink, and there was no line, it was just a free for all! I don't know if all this chaos was mainly due to the concert, or if this is normally like that.. But it was really frustrating to enjoy such a nice place, that is essentially a mess operationally.

They put sand down all over the ground and set up a bar. They also have a private area you can reserve. The prices are doable and you get to enjoy a nice view of the Cologne Dom. They also put down beach chairs that you and friends can enjoy. Finding the place can be tricky. You have to look for the entrance to the parking garage and then climb the stairs to the top. Upon entering, a host will greet you and request a fee to enter. For what this is, I think it's a fun idea. I do think that maybe a tid bit more could be done with the space. Maybe add some little games people can play at the beach. Also, the tiki walls are cute, but they are a little high. It would be nice if they were lower so people can enjoy nice photos with the view. I also would add more palm trees to the space to give it a little more of a beach vibe, but I love the sand and beach chairs already in place.
