A big space, lot's of bouldering variety, quite a lot roped climbing, frequent route resets, and…read morefriendly staff are at the heart of this gyms success. There's a good sized changing room with lockers and showers, a cafe to sit and have a cup with a new or old friend, a climbing gear retail store and yes, shoe-horns for their "no shoes beyond this line" policy. They have done a lot of work this Summer on the gym and it is vastly improved by adding hard flooring for "clean and jerk" practitioners and anyone looking for more stabilized footing, olympic rings, a rope climb, mounted ab benches, new yoga mats, and more space by re-organizing a bunch of things. It is definitely a gym for those of us that prefer body-weight exercises. In a previous review, I knocked them for the stiffness of the mats upstairs. I can say that over time they have become less so. Unfortunately they have also taken away the buffet, which was a great deal but apparently was too difficult and costly to manage. At least TellUs Bar and Kök just outside the gym has some good deals. Another thing that is difficult about this gym, but doesn't apply to many is that the monthly rate is very expensive if you can't sign up for their automatic debit plan which requires a Swedish Bank Account (and personal number). They had a Summer deal where you could purchase access through the end of August, but they don't usually have anything like this at any other part of the year. It would be nice if they did something to address this: allowing people to purchase a certain number of months at a time at a discounted rate. It's perhaps too expensive in Sweden but it's a shame they don't have fitness classes or Yoga with your membership as is common in the States -- but probably in Sweden there is enough of that elsewhere. This is a great gym and lots of friendly Swedes and others are climbing here. Enjoy!
Lots of improvements at the gym this summer. Solid flooring, rope climb, gymansts rings, new fingerboard area, new yoga mats

The instructors are friendly and inspire trust (which is needed because security is important). The climbing and and walking around the high altitude path is a great way to face your vertigo. I had a high heart rate throughout but it was a great experience. There are some logs lying around a fire place where we wanted to grill some hot dogs afterwards, and they lent is grilling equipment even though they were leaving, trusting us to put the grilling equipment by their cabin when we left later in. Very nice of them. They also have sauna, sleeping accommodations and other activities beside the high altitude path. Check out their website for more info.
The staff let us borrow this grille and stand - very generous of them.
I like this place a lot. It's smaller than telefonplan, but…read moreat the same time the people working there are very friendly, and it feels more personal than other climbing centers. Showers, sauna, etc. are clean and always working. In a way it feels like this place is more for bouldering than lead or top roping, but you can do all three. They change routes and boulder problems with regularity, which is great
The smaller brother of the Telefonplan location. This is quite a bit smaller than the other…read morelocation. There is probably about 33% of the bouldering routes as in the Telefonplan location. Of course there is rope climbing: top-roping and lead climbing as well. Still, it's a nice gym with nice changing rooms with showers, a cafe, etc. One nice thing about this location is that the gym (ie where the weights and etc are located) is larger. It doesn't have a true water fountain, just a sink (if you can't tell, I'm grasping for informative information here). Its not the flagship location, but it's nice if you live closer to it and probably the community is a bit smaller so you might get to know everyone a little better. It's definitely a place I would recommend climbing. Get there before 17.00 on the weekdays for a cheaper day pass!
