There are very many rare and beautiful artifacts here, though, and they are displayed very well. The young man at the desk spoke English. He was very patient and was very willing to answer our questions. We especially enjoyed the displays of lavishly decorated royal watercraft, as well as examples of items used in everyday life in Bavaria.

A bit far away from Munich in Gauting, Bosco is a hidden gem. We saw the Danish String Quartet, and…read morespace is spacious (with floor-to-ceiling windows) yet cozy. Acoustics was decent. Nice bar area to hang out during preshow/intermission/aftershow but drinks were on the higher end when we were there. Regardless, it was worth the trek.
