This was the second time I asked for a repair here. The first time I was told no repair was possible. They couldn't offer something comparable. The bag has been repaired elsewhere and has been used frequently since. This time I called about a broken telescopic handle. I was told they didn't have access to parts of this make. No alternative was offered. This suitcase since has been repaired as well. An easy solution just requiring some creativity and thinking. This seems what they are not interested in. This place is downstairs from my office. I walked by often, stopping in now and again. Recently though my Samsonite suitcase broke at the handle when removing it from the baggage carousel at the airport. I brought it here as they sell Samsonite products and other more high-end travel luggage, mostly from Rimowa. Nevertheless, klockmann took back my suitcase (which was purchased in the States over a year ago) and repaired it. I was expecting a bill for this and would have gladly paid but they did this all under warranty. Took two weeks but who cares, I didn't need the luggage while it was being repaired. The two ladies who work here and I've interacted with are both super nice as well as super attentive. Really awesome service which is rare for Germany and Hamburg. They may be the main reason for coming back. One way or another, I will soon be in the market for a new suitcase and although I would have gone for Tumi, the service here will have me come back to buy Rimowa. The service really is THAT good. read more
