We were initially unsure about the lights on the dance floor, but he really knows how to make a phenomenal experience! Our guests danced the night away, and Bob knew exactly how to keep the energy high! Towards the end of the night, I was getting tired and ready to leave and Bob noticed from the other side of the room, perfectly transitioning into an appropriate goodbye song for us! Never in my life have I witnessed such irrational and unstable behavior from an owner of a business much less one that's in the entertainment service industry. 1 star is too high for this business. If I knew how to give 0 stars I would. I was at a wedding in Waupaca this last weekend where Bob Holl Entertainment was providing the reception entertainment. Bob Holl was the DJ. Through his unprofessionalism and irrational behavior, he single handedly ruined the wedding reception. He was extremely inflexible with regards to the Bride's request, he was not willing to take music requests, he threatened guests over the microphone that were in his opinion dancing "too close" to his speakers. He made the bride cry on two separate occasions that I witnessed. He did not even allow the bouquet and garter toss. Conversations Bob Holl had with the guests became more and more irrational as the night progressed. He was unable to relate to the crowd and to top it off, he packed up his equipment at 10:30 and shut down the party an hour and a half earlier than he was contracted... The reception was intended to go to 12:00. When confronted about his early exit, he started citing irrelevant points within his contract and he even went as far as threatening the individuals that were questioning his actions. Looking back on it and his growing inflexibility throughout the night, it was apparent that he had a premeditated agenda to close down the party early and evident that this has likely occurred in the past.

Played at our high school prom. The DJ did not play any original songs, he remixed every single…read moreone. Every student was outraged and upset they payed so much money for such an awful prom. The DJ even went so far as deliberately pausing the music and shouting "F*** YOU!" over a microphone to the students, and flipping them off for persistently asking him to play one original song. Needless to say, the staff was absolutely enraged as well as all of the students who dropped so much money on this special night! Please never make this mistake for yourself. I regret every penny spent for that night.

When I was searching for vendors for our wedding, finding a DJ was the one I dreaded the most. I just wanted someone who would help keep the reception moving and keep guests on the dance floor, that was it. I just couldn't find anyone that we meshed with personality wise. Then I thought of Abby. Abby and I have known each other since college and I knew she was a respected DJ, but hadn't considered her for our wedding simply because I thought it would be too far for her to travel. When I reached out to her, not only was I surprised that she was ready and willing to make the trip across the state but that her prices were far better than the local DJ's I had talked to. Abby and I had some conversations via email, getting details of our wedding sorted out and giving her an idea of what we had planned. Abby then suggested we meet in person closer to our wedding date to finalize the details and ensure she had a vision of what we wanted for our day. From the start, Abby was professional and knowledgeable, asking me great questions and providing me with solid advice from her years of experience with weddings. On the day of our wedding, Abby was a saving grace. When our catering was late and I was panicking at the head table, she came up and reassured me that everything would be okay and was flexible with our schedule for that evening's events (i.e. first dance, speeches, etc.). She knew I was counting on her to keep the evening's events moving along so she even went up to the catering staff to get an idea when the food would be served. I was so relieved to have her there and know she would do a great job. Our guests loved the music and we had people on the dance floor the entire night. Abby took many requests from our guests for songs. Abby has several different packages to offer and even can provide ceremony music and colored lights for the reception. I can't recommend Abby enough!

He then proceeded to tell me he went ahead and just hired a different dj (without asking me if id prefer a refund or suggestions of other djs) with the $800 i had paid in full to him months before. He hired a dj service that i had never heard of before, and it was an all around huge headache to deal with. I found out later he has done this before. And i also found out that the dj he hired in place of him, only charges $525, and not $800 like he told me they charged amd he said he had to really "snaggle them down on thoer price." We are out $275 because of him. I will NEVER recommend king entertainment to anyone. Very shady, and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have heard now of others who have experienced this same type of issue.
