I attended the Clinic in May 2023 for whole body Hyperthermie. I was badly burnt by this treatment, and suffered pain and oozing from a severe burn for almost a year. I had regular treatments to help with the pain and infection control in London, a days travel away from where I live in the UK. I asked for the clinic to partly support with the costs as the burn was due to their medical negligence. At the outset, I naively thought the burn would heal in a couple of weeks, instead of the year it took to stop oozing and being painful. To this day it still is a bad scar, with thin skin, and very unsightly in appearance. The Dowes family owners have consistently ignored my letters and request for some monies towards my extensive costs. The Dowes family are despicable in how they portray the clinic as a place for healing, when clearly how I have been treated shows pure greed, lack of care, and despicable human behaviour. I cannot recommend this clinic at all. read more
I went to St Georg Klinik to take care of someone who allegedly had Lyme disease (ALL but 1 doctor in the US said she didn't have it - so, all seemed fishy to start with). Anyway, we arrived mid-November & after figuring out where to go we were finally taken to our cold hospital room where we were to spend the next 3 weeks. The "guest" (me) was expected to sleep on a pull out couch the entire time (beyond uncomfortable). The next day the "doctor" (come to find out NOT a doctor) came to tell my friend about her treatment plan. After talking, the "doctor" found out from my friend that I have cancer & he started asking me questions. I told him that I had a nodule on my lung that was keeping me from being in "remission" until the 5 years mark but my main issue was that I suffered from severe painful neuropathy. He told me they could help with both for about 5k. Getting rid of the painful neuropathy issues was worth it alone but I didn't have 5k. My friend in the States quickly put together a charity event & I had the money the next day. In the mean time, I started the neuropathy infusions (which was spider venom - no lie). My toes started turning black & blue & were painful I alert the staff about my feet but, I was dismissed by the doctor and told to "quit treatment" if I hated it & then he just walked away leaving me in the hallway not knowing what to do. They have ZERO bedside manner and if you have PTSD **DO NOT GO HERE** - I have PTSD & this place triggered episodes every night (zero help & was treated poorly). I lost 12 lbs while I was there because the food is just... I'll move on because, that was the least of my worries. Next treatment was for me to have the nodule removed by heating my body to 108 degrees. After speaking to my Oncologist in the States at length he & his colleges pleaded with me to LEAVE and return home. I was now stuck there with my friend and her "Lyme" disease & trying to hide the feeling that I might die if I get the heat treatment. Once they were to schedule me they said they needed my MRI reports - HUH??? I didn't bring any medical records. I asked them to do an MRI but they refused & things got more & more scary. My friend went in for her treatment & she came out and I was PETRIFIED - She was peeing and having bowel movements in her bed and the room smelled like death. I wouldn't leave her side because I was terrified. At this point, I wanted to go home. The hospital had extra rooms and gave me a different room for one night because I was having panic attacks & disturbing the person I had been keeping an eye. While in my new room I wanted for them to bring me towels and sheets (hospital bed had NO LINENS and was just the plastic mattress). I waited and finally someone came but to my surprise it was to charge me for the room and that was almost 1k. NOW, my bill in total was close to 3k, I haven't had the heat therapy & I had to come home & go straight to the Orlando Epilepsy Center for 5 days because I was having horrible seizures (still paying for that) This "Clinic" prays on people who are really sick with Lyme disease & cancer (which is why I was sad & panicked the entire time). I ended up leaving my friend there and I never saw her again. I don't think the hospital even told her how hard I was coping while she was sedated & how scared I was for her well-being. I AM SORRY IF THIS PLACE IS YOUR LAST RESORT BUT, I WISH I WOULD HAVE NEVER GONE THERE - I will be haunted by the place forever :( I took pictures but, I can't even look at them and it has taken me FOREVER to write this review because of the nightmares this place has caused me. I'd like my money back but it is in Germany and I know it would be impossible but maybe I can spare someone else from getting false hope. I wish anyone reading this good health - read more

The most amazing medical facility on the planet! I've never written an online review about anything in my life and probably never will again, but I feel compelled to do so after my experience at the KSG. I will never forget it and I will be forever in their debt. They gave me my son back. He struggled with Lyme disease for years. I took him to multiple doctors and facilities in the US including the John Hopkins Lyme Research Center in Maryland. Unfortunately, none of the treatment worked. Jack felt hopeless. He was in tremendous pain and had many of the other symptoms from this awful disease. From the moment we walked in to KSG, they made us feel welcome. We stayed for one month. My son had two hyperthermia treatments during the first two weeks, then a post Lyme recovery week, followed by a gut rebuild for the 4th and final week. Writing that the entire staff was amazing, awesome, incredible, compassionate, and outstanding...seems like an understatement. The nurses checked on us constantly. The treatment was comprehensive and thorough. We had a huge team coordinating my son's care. His recovery was a roller coaster ride with lots of ups and downs but I'm happy to say he's 99.9% fully recovered. I should say cured because the treatment he received at KSG killed the Lyme disease. We fully expect the sole remaining minor painless symptom to go away in the next few weeks leaving him 100% cured. We've been home 12 weeks and have had multiple email exchanges, phone calls, and a video appointment with his doctor. Before we went to KSG, I spoke with 5 different families that all had someone go to KSG with chronic Lyme disease. They all had more severe symptoms than my son and all of them are cured and all feel the same way we do about KSG. It truly is a miraculous place with even better people administering the best medicine for Lyme disease anywhere on earth. read more
