Friendly service, obviously well experienced. Took down dying old growth tree that had caused property damage. Started at 8:30am, by 11:45am, there was only a spot in the ground with dirt and woodchips left. Even rescued my dogs rope toy that had been stuck on a branch for months. Do NOT use!! This tree service was hired by my neighbor and landlord over a tree dispute. 2-3 months ago... The night before the incident Klein's called my neighbor and said they would be there the next day. I was still uninformed and was until I thought the weedeating was going on too long outside and was definitely in my yard, not the neighbors. They didnt knock on the door, they didnt warn me, they didnt ask me to move my plants or let me know I would be trapped inside my home. I am disabled and the ramp was blocked. When I first saw what was happening I went out and was shocked, half my garden was buried in trees, my potted plants looked destroyed. I yelled(so they could hear me) "did you even try to be careful?" and the response was curt and rude. Something along the lines of him being unable to control where stuff fell. With a warning I could have tried to lessen the damage or left, I actually missed a Dr appt because of this. I tried to watch more and snapped a couple pictures and a branch fell right outside the door. After a while they left and I went out to see what happened to everything. They had intentionally caused more damage by stacking cut lumber on a previously unaffected part of the garden. I then called and was hung up on. I had gone to facebook to post my review and post up on a couple local groups about the poor service and the guy threatened to sue me for slander. Again... DO NOT USE! read more

Let's be honest, when purchasing a new home, tree cutting is probably not the most exciting part of the renovation project that you have planned. When my husband and I purchased our home, we knew we had to address the trees first because one was growing into the house (and no, the sellers were not going to take care of it- that was discussed up front). There were also some other large trees that had started to die, and LOTS of trimming. We called every tree service within about an hour of Yankton. Going with Klein's was an excellent choice!!! Not only were they the most reasonably priced, but they were so fun and easy to work with! I stopped by the house from time to time, and they patiently listened to all of my questions and concerns, made me feel at ease with this huge project, and provided clear information. It's obvious that they know what they are doing, and they will be honest about their work. When all was said and done, they cleaned up every last twig and wood chip.
