Since I really need my glasses, he suggested a more affordable alternative. I told him I would think about it and left. I went in and they immediately began showing me glasses. And they really listened to what I wanted. We were both happily impressed! The entire staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. The eye exams were thorough, they took the time to answer questions and address concerns. The facility is clean, decorated nicely, and has a relaxing atmosphere. I had been told at two aforementioned places that I needed cataract surgery. This doctor explained that yes, I have slight cataracts, but that for now most of my burry vision issues are from dry eye and would be much improved with regular use of eye-drops, and surgery wouldn't be needed for a few years. Great news to me! Turns out I don't need distance correction enough to warrant it, but it was an option if I wanted it, so I opted for readers. He explained that store bought readers have the same strength for both eyes, while prescription readers are tailored to each eye. That makes sense, I simply hadn't thought about it like that. We are more than pleased with our experience at Resler-Kerber and highly recommend them!
