I called yesterday to get my post name embroidered onto my American Legion hat. I spoke with a very…read morenice man who said no problem to bring it by. He even gave me an estimated price to do it. I went in today and a woman touched the hat, said it had been worn and they didn't embroider on hats that had been worn. I told her it had only been worn twice. She acted like the hat was some road kill pushing it away from her. I grabbed it and put it back in the ziplock bag I had it in. I left telling her that if she was going to treat me like that, I didn't think I was going to come back to them for anything. I had just come from an incredible meeting at the Board of Supervisors chamber where veterans were being honored, not being treated like something you scrape off the bottom of your shoe. It was like night and day in the space of maybe 15 min.

Jonathan ( I think the owner) was the most professional and experienced person I have encountered in the field. He was kind enough to deliver our order (for free) and even carried them upstairs to our union office. Oh and communication, Jonathan is absolutely wonderful and consistent in communication with his customers. The teachers were absolutely thrilled with the craftsmanship and quality of the sweatshirts. This small business is located in central Stockton and there is more than enough parking available. I will definitely continue to do business with California Tees and Jonathan! The guy working is a fuckin asshole. I came in to get a design of a cross printed on the back of a…read morevest. The guy running the booth said "yeah I can do it. Come back in about 15 minutes." So I did, and when I came back he showed me his own version of the design where it was just a blob of the design I originally wanted. I was thinking okay. Well it's not what I wanted so thank god he didn't press that on the vest. I explained to him how all the details were completely blobbed out and looked nothing like the original image and he tried arguing saying it was the same thing to him. You had me send you a picture of it to you and you did your own rendering to remove the background and ruined it (The photo I provided worked perfectly fine. I did a background removal on my part and it didn't look anything like what you did). It doesn't stop there. He proceeded to ARGUE and raise his voice at me and not give me back my vest unless I paid him for whatever design he created. Then after awhile of saying no to that because why would I pay for something that YOU fucked up?He tossed my vest at me and said to leave. Anyone else would have caused a scene and probably threatened you. Do better at your job and take constructive criticism, you piece of shit.

I called All…read moreIn One to see about placing an order of 75 shirts that needed to be done in less than 3-weeks. We discussed everything in great detail; Pedro convinced me he would be able to fulfill the order. I followed up with an email explaining everything in writing and sent pictures, shirt sizes, etc. After he received the email he called and told me he would need a deposit, and the balance would be due upon pick up, however, he asked for cash. I expressed my concern about paying in cash as the funds would be drawn from our church fund, for Kids Camp. He allowed us to pay by check but asked that it be written to him directly, so we did. II'm into the second week and i have not heard from him, so i call to see how things are going and ask if he had any questions. He told me he was working on a previous order and that he would call me the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and no call. I waited until Friday, before the 3-day weekend to call him. He told me he hadn't started on them yet, but kept insisting he would have them done. I remind him of the 75 shirts i ordered and the due date fast approaching. To be honest, not including the weekend/holiday, he had 2 days to get them done. His response, "I know, they'll get done." Due date is here. I stop by and they are not done. He asks if i can come by after work. Irritated, i leave and go back to work. Instead of just stopping by, i call and he tells me they are not ready - they would be ready later that night. I told him at the very latest i will pick them up the following day, as i allowed an extra day just in case anything happened. Again, he assured me not to worry they would be ready. By this time i am frustrated with him as he already broken numerous promises that he would call me back, the shirts would be ready and blah, blah, blah... I go the next day at lunch and guess what? They AREN'T ready. You guessed it... come back tonight at 8 p.m. Skip forward from all the BS that i was given by this guy. Before heading to his shop i call text him at 7:49 and tell him I'm on my way. He responded, OK. When I get there he shows me one of the shirts and to be fair, they looked nice. Then i look down and see all my colored T-Shirts untouched and asked him if those were my shirts. He's a little nervous and say's yes. I got upset and asked how many he had done - his response, ten. OMG!!!! I told him what I thought about his work ethic (poor planning, unable to meet deadlines, poor communication, broken promises etc.) After all that i leave upset. He calls me at 9:30 on a workday, and tells me he's almost done to give him 20 min. I stop by and i wait at his shop talking to him while he finishes up. Left at 10:30 p.m. and two shirts were missing. Asked me to come back next day. Folks, he only has two shirts left. I meet up with him the next day like I'm supposed to and he takes his final payment then proceeds to tell me he's on his way to get the last two shirts (time is noon). I told him i would be back at 4 (sound familiar). At 3:49 p.m. he texts me to say he's opening an account at the bank that he's not there. OMG!!! I go by the shop anyway. He say's he isn't there, but his car is parked out front and the door is closed as if no one is in the shop. I wanted to let him know that he set me back a lot by making me run all these trips back and forth, and now I have to drive my own vehicle to the mountains to deliver the shirts that were supposed to be there two days ago. His response, and i quote, "it is, what it is!" His work is good, his price is good, but I would rather pay top dollar than to go through this unfair business practice ever again. This was the worse business transaction I had ever encountered. This guy has no clue as to time management. If you are on a tight deadline then i would not recommend you taking your business to this man. The straw that broke the camels back is what he said to me... it is, what it is. He has no idea the stress he caused me and the extra work i now have to do. I'm being nice by giving him a one star rating.
