Last year we moved to Auckland from overseas and brought a few pieces of furniture and a whole bunch of boxes, less than half of what we owned previously to try and keep the cost down amongst some other reasons. It was stressful, belongings that have personal and practical usage were in all that stuff and I wanted it to be safe and secure. The staff at Storage King Remuera were very friendly and helpful which made the whole situation a easier. They emphasize that if you want to extend your lease on your storage make sure it is done so in advance, otherwise a hefty fee will be added to your bill. Another handy hint that may save you some dollars before you book with them, if you have your own padlock, a nice big strong one, take it along, otherwise you will have to buy one from them, an additional cost that may make you grit your teeth that little bit harder.

We were a bit wary about the state of our belongings when we went to collect them but found them to be in the same condition as they were when we first put them into storage. The facilities at National Mini Storage were very clean and tidy. We have had some other personal belongings stored in another storage unit in the Bay of Plenty where we now reside and I have to say that National Mini Storage is a lot cleaner and well cared for than this other unit we have. The kids had a good old run around trying out all of the beds, we were actually looking for the kids the last time we were there. They've got bunks, slat beds, wooden frame, mattress and base, and prices are okay. We went with the bunk set so mission accomplished that time around. Rest sell their own Therapedic mattresses which they purport gives the best night rest and if you are concerned about the environment the are sustainably conscious. Check out their furniture range for the bedroom plus they have headboards and pillows. In fact I think a couple of pillows were thrown in with our purchase.
