First&Foremost I want to give a huge hug&a shout out to Mr. Chambers and his team, without this team. We are truly blessed for this team. The whole entire family would not be where they are today. When I first called I was already sad&lost, so much emotions I went through because of where I worked at. Mr. Chambers heard my voice and without even hesitation just hearing my voice he immediately ask "How are you feeling today?, "What can I help you with?".The moment when Mr. Chambers spoke to me and heard my voice: he listened, he didn't speak over me, he made sure I was okay, he broke down the who ordeal and ask me if I was okay&if I understand why I was reaching out to him. After the years he kept in touch and he made sure I had receive the best care and I did. Because of Mr. Chambers and his team my surgeries went through the paper/system so fast I could not be more grateful. Before him I was waiting for so long for the process I was going through such an emotional state of mind, I could not even rest well. Mr. Chambers made sure I was feeling better after all my surgeries and made sure I felt safe and comfortable at home. If this isn't the family attorneys your looking for I don't know what else to tell you because this team, Mr. Chambers has the upmost professional kindness, support, emotional understanding anyone could ever receive. The way they spoke up for me before surgery, during surgery and after surgery. They made sure all medications and care was made easy so I wouldn't have to run around. It was the best choice because it was the first choice. Mr. Chambers spoke out for me when my voice was being shut down from work/management and he heard my tears even when I didn't say much. This is the team, this is the place and with all love and blessings I will always be so grateful for Mr. Chambers and his amazing team. My family&I appreciate you all so much. Words can not even deeply express how much my life was torn upside until I found you guys. With love and Blessings I will always have you all in my prayers. He made this a successful and powerful transition and on top of that income blessing I received. Thank you all. Thank you Mr. Chambers, Thank you amazing Team, Thank you for always answering the phone. The confidence MR. Chambers had from day one on the phone with me and now couple years later, he knew and he felt my case was worth it. I am still at my job and I hear crickets. All because someone as AWESOME sauce like Mr. Chambers showed up and showed out for me. This was such an emotional, but powerful journey I am forever Grateful for you and the Team. If anyone reads this and is wondering if this isn't who you want to fight for you, speak up for you then... I wish you the best because you can't get anyone better than the team and Mr. Chambers in San Diego. Happy Holidays With Love&Light, Mrs. O read more

I can't thank Chris Chambers and the team at Kiwan & Chambers enough. After my lower back work injury and the stress of a three-year workers' comp case, it was a blessing to have an attorney who truly cared. From the very beginning, Chris made me feel important and understood all the facts of my situation. His extensive experience was obvious, but it was his outstanding communication and genuine kindness that made all the difference. I felt supported through the entire process and am so grateful for his dedication. With Chris's knowledge, experience & expertise, I ended my case with an extremely favorable settlement! read more

Not sure where to start but, I initially had chosen Kiwan & Chambers for a workers comp case because they had taken care of a family member in the past. It's now been over two years!! since I started my injury case which is longer than what Chris chambers said it would take to settle this case, I have reach out left voicemails without no call back from the from Chris chambers and Mirna case manager. And also every time I had spoken to victor receptionist he has not been helpful to the information the questions and concerns I've had. he tries to keep it short and hang up my calls. All this situation has me frustrated and regretting that I let them handle my case. For me unfortunately it has been a unsatisfying experience so far. I can't even get assistance for my mileage reimbursement even do I have ask for help several times. read more

Thank you to Chris, James and everyone involved in my case. After getting injured at work, the fear of reality after injury and the struggles of Workmans comp, I must say your office is by far the best with helping people get help. Even tho I was unable to return to my job, I am thankful that you kept me in the loop the whole time and encouraged me to keep my chin up. Even with covid slowing the whole process down I was surprised and relieved to get it all settled within a 2 years time frame. Please do not ever stop helping people like me, you are true blessings to this community and I wish you all the best. There should be a special GOLDEN STAR on yelp for companies/people like you!!! read more

I was recommended to this law firm from a friend that had excellent results with them. We met in person right before Covid closed everything. My wife had a workers compensation case which end result had been unsatisfactory. Our main contact was Christian, for the most part. They handled the case very professionally and most of all, they were very smart. Needless to say, our final compensation was extremely well, not expected really. They know the law, they know the legal system, they know the ins and outs...they know. I agree with Mike K's review, look no further. Very appreciated, Gabriel and Maricruz. read more

II would LOVE to thank Chris from the bottom of my heart. This guy kicked ass BIG time he was like the Terminator in T2. I had never needed nor met a lawyer. So I only knew what I knew of them was from friends or family members past experiences. Thought I needed a great white shark mean looking tough guy but instead I went off the other reviews from other yelp users and its funny cause originally I looked at a different lawyer.. clicked on a review and it took me to this law office. I called set up a meeting, he looked over my paperwork, we talked and he explained to me how things would work. He was super friendly, Very knowledgeable on my injury (even had experience in the matter) and he seem to have a great presents under pressure. Like if we were to get to a court he would Leonardo Da Vinci and paint his masterpiece for all to see. He was that focused and on point. Plus I loved the BIG factor he said; "I do not get paid until you get paid". Now I don't know if that was pure confidence in himself or a must thing but I was like.. I didn't even knew that was a thing or a option. I went from my injury claim getting declined from Liberty Mutual to a real unreal thing of owning 250k in hospital bills, not being possible to work for months cause I couldn't walk for at least 5 months to Chris coming in to become the Agent 47 of lawyers. He got me a large settlement [more than what I expected too he first got a more than fair offer but he pushed for more and got it!!] THIS GUY!! Plus he got them to pay my hospital bills too. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. I seriously own you more than these words. I may have to send you a box of cigars or sent you something great. Thank you!! I am sure you'll become the #1 lawyer in no time. There is one better!! Don't go anywhere else, if you feel like you are at the end of the line or worried what it do.. ask for Chris. He really is a MASTER AT WORK read more

Look no further. These guys are the best! When my employer decided to lay me off this past spring, I quickly realized that finding another job/income source would not be easy due to my work limitations from an on-the-job injury. Add in the skyrocketing unemployment rate from the pandemic and I knew I needed professional assistance. So I started by reading the Yelp reviews of local worker's comp lawyers and submitted questions to several of them. All but one replied with a perfunctory "Call me." The only one who actually gave thoughtful responses to my questions was Christian Chambers of the Law Offices of John G Kiwan. I soon met with Christian at his office. He explained what would happen if we moved forward together and what payments my temporary disability status rated. His reassurance that I had a strong case (and knowing that he only gets paid if I get paid) made retaining his services an easy decision. As required, Christian apprised me of the first settlement offer and did not recommend accepting it. In fact, months later and by then fed up with the worker's comp system, I suggested settling. Christian and John Kiwan (who spent a substantial period of time one-on-one with me prepping for my deposition) still advised waiting, saying that the offer should improve. They were right. In the end, the final settlement was superior to anything offered earlier. At the outset, I had no idea what my situation was worth. That's why it's important to use professionals in cases like this. An injured former employee alone vs. a big insurance company is no contest. I'm very pleased with the resolution of my case, thanks to Christian Chambers and John Kiwan. read more

Thank-you Chris Chambers! Having never needed an attorney before in the past, it was a little scary reaching out to one and deciding to go down this path. Not having anyone to provide a referral, I googled Work Comp attorneys and came across Kiwan and Chambers, APC. I placed a call to their office and was quickly put in touch with Chris. He put me at ease on our initial conversation and asked pertinent questions to determine if I had a case. He determined I did and worked tirelessly (and patiently) to get me through the the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a work comp case. I am grateful for all your assistance and perseverance and am extremely happy with the end result. You were wonderful to work with and we had a successful outcome. Best of luck to you, Chris! I had the incredible fortune of visiting this law office with my father a couple weeks ago and I have to share my experience for the benefit of anyone that may be curious. We met with Christian Chambers for over an hour for a free consultation, and he went over our case with extreme detail and care. He interpreted the legal language on some documents in a way we could understand. He identified the possible options we had in front of us, and he was clearly an advocate for our interests. Coming into the office, I was nervous and unsure of what to do next; after talking with Christian, I felt informed and supported - amazing experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning their rights!!! read more

I would first like to say how professional all the Attorney's and Assistants are. One day after I sent an inquiry I received a call from Christian whom later became my Attorney for my Workers comp case. Workers comp can definitely be a pain in the butt but Christian definitely went above and beyond to get the most he could out of my case. He handled everything for me from Doctors Visits, Orthopedic surgeon, chiropractor visits, physical therapy visits and psychologist visits. Christian was very good at keeping a weekly update for me which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this law office and Christian specifically he was very understanding with everything going on for my case and what I expected to get out of it. All cases are different but we were able to close the case with a positive outcome in 7months which I was anticipating at least a year. read more

I was injured on the job for a stress injury, and christian helped me every step of the way! A very stressful time in my life that was made easier with the guidance of the law office. Highly recommend their services for all worker's comp cases -- couldn't have asked for better representation. Thank you again! read more

I unfortunately had to go through workers' comp for an accident that I had. The system is broken. With that said, it takes A LOT of time--it can take up to 2 years to resolve or close the case. You really want someone to represent you well and make the 2 year road a bit easier, because, believe me, it gets seriously frustrating. Christian Chambers, my attorney, did a wonderful job. Be aware, they have a lot of cases, so their prompt response may not be as quickly as you would like, but eventually everything gets resolved. I had a very good experience with them. Highly recommended!! read more

My wife needed assistance going up against a large retail company. We were not really expecting to be successful but Chris Chambers was outstanding! The physician she was referred to, Dr. Blake Thompson was very understanding and thorough and found that my wife had additional medical problems we were not aware of. The Select Physical Therapy was also high quality and helpful. Chris was tireless, answered all our questions, and was able to get us a settlement. I highly recommend him and his team. read more

I had a severe back injury at work and John and Chris helped me make sure my medical needs were taken care of in a timely fashion. They were very supportive in making sure I didn't get brushed under the rug from my company. They didn't back down till they knew I was physically and financially taken care of to the max the law would support. I hope to not need them again but would choose them without hesitation if I ever need an attorney again! read more

Workmans comp is difficult. In an instance everything in your life changes, your finances, your day to day and even your health. At one point in the beginning There had been some simple miscommunications and he and his office staff were busy, I felt lost helpless and alone. Since I expressed my concerns he assured me that he understood where I was coming from and would continue to help with my all around health and financial situation as much as he possibly could. The small breakdown which seemed huge to me at the time was addressed and he and he staff have been great about it. I guess he is used to dealing with the anger and pain people suffer in these types of situations. So far our working relationship is great and I think it will continue to grow. I am happy to have such an experienced and understanding lawyer in my corner. read more

Chris Chambers represented me for a work comp claim wherein my employer and representing company weren't doing anything to resolve my injury and it's ensuing complications. The matter had gone on for over a year without resolution. Enter Chis Chambers from the Law Offices of John Kiwan and in a matter of a few months my claim was settled and the issue was completely resolved in a very lucrative and satisfactory manner. I cannot articulate what a consummate professional Chris is! Thank you so much for your professionalism and ethics, I highly recommend Chris and this practice for your work comp needs! read more

I have to shout it out!!! John and his staff are top notch in their field!!! Sure they may be busy, but they are taking care of business!! They know what they're doing, they really care about people and will give you the best advice as they know this very broken, complicated system called worker's compensation. They know it well. When I found my self in a difficult situation, John and James as well as their support staff went into action guiding me with their expertise to a solid victory. I highly recommend these people to do the necessary work to take the best care of what is an awful situation and turn it around for good.
