Kito's was a regular haunt when I lived in Woodseats, and I often wish I didn't now live over the other side of the city. It's a small and cosy Italian restaurant serving good value, unpretentious and delicious food. Much of the food is obtained locally from the fishmonger's and butcher's nearby. You bring your own bottle of wine and corkage is reasonable.
They sometimes have live music, and sometimes earlier in the week there are special offers on. The staff are always friendly. I believe they are now open in the daytime some days of the week as well.
Worth a visit even if you don't live locally! read more
