Good food, for sure, but horrific service. I would give it four stars on food and decor...not the most innovative japanese food, but more than adequate in size and quality. We had miso soup (good but not amazing) the ahi and avocado appetizer (good but sort of clunky, just a big raw tuna meatball, but I guess we're in the land of tartare, so maybe would feel a bit more normal to a Scandinavian palette) and the Miso Salmon, which was nicely cooked with a yuzu-miso sauce, pea pods and some strange tendrils that tricked my mouth into thinking they were fishbones.
We were the only people in the restaurant, and after a strange hesitant greeting, we received one visit from a server, then our food, and then 20 minutes later I literally had to get up and walk to the back of the restaurant and yell for someone to come clear our table and give us the check. For $46 euro I expect someone who has actually been trained as a server, or at least demonstrates that they have been. read more
