This was my third trip to Barra and I really wanted to visit the castle. So once the weather cleared and we could actually see the castle we got the boat out. The boat runs every 30 mins and is free. I am not sure if the cost of the castle as my friend treated me. I would say that 30 mins is enough time to go round the whole castle as its so small but definitely worth the visit.
