I find the previous reviews very, very strange. I have dealt exclusively with KIS for 20 plus years and have always received courteous speedy service. I also think that many other people feel the same way as there is always customers in the business when I am there and a few times have had a small wait until an agent was free. They raised my rates are $150 a year for nothing, no claims, the person said at McBean's insurance that because of the leak floods my insurance went up, I will never and share with these people again read more

As a seasoned Yelp user and rater I normally do not give unfavorable reviews and only share my most positive experiences with a business , this business how ever has inspired me to print a deserved review If I could give a negative star rating I certainly would I am a business owner myself and realize one less than stellar experience in an establishment does not truly deserve a poor review This however is outrageous Not only did the request for event insurance go unfulfilled for two months Yes two months , I ended up being told by the agent handling the request Quote" Listen so many people have had their hands on this file I don't know what is going on And I didn't return your call because I don't have anything knew to tell you about your event insurance" end quote Well thanks a lot less than two weeks before the event I already have all my other licences ect ... in place but could not pay for the venue until I could prove I was insured Again yesterday I had no insurance near the days end I went to RHC insurance on Baker Street and had my policy in place before I went home from work that afternoon I want to mention that even though my policy was never filled by Kootenay insurance they were give an American express card to pay for it and yet nothing I will be checking the card today to make sure no payment was rendered for completely rude non performance Normally I deal with RHC any way but had Kootenay Insurance recommended to me by a client I will be letting them know how it all turned out too NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! read more
