It was brilliant. Entry was £3.50 per adult and we ended up having to rush at the end because the car park was about to run out - we didn't know we'd be spending nearly an hour there! The illusions are really interesting and very well presented, with an explanation of each. The shop is good as well, containing loads of brilliant gifts. If you're in Keswick then definitely give the Puzzling Place a go, you won't be disappointed.

The anti gravity room is a good laugh, balls roll up hill, you can sit on a powerless chair lift and roll up hill. There is a great hologram exhibition where all kinds of famous characters come out the walls at you, as well as opitical illusion exhibitins. I loved the Ames room which creates tall and little people. Superb for taking funny photos. The Puzzling Place is great for kids and adults a like. Defo worth checking out.

The Carnegie is a great place to see a band or a play, it is an older building just outside the…read moretown center and houses a Theatre, Monroes Bar, a Cafe and two other rooms which are often used as galleries or workshop areas. The Carnegie usually has a band or act on at the weekend and Monroes bar often has local bands playing, the cafe is open during the day providing good value teas, coffess, cakes and hot food. I have seen few acts in the Theatre and Monroes Bar it alsways has a good atmosphere and never costs the earth to get in.

The museum is run largely by a group of volunteers who are passionate and knowledgable about the museum and much of Workingtons history. But the museum isn't just that, I recently attended an art exhibition in the museum, it was well organised and prepared. I also got married in the museum and the staff and location were fantastic, definitely worth a visit if you are in teh town.

The museum itself is tucked away in the town of Keswick in a less than obvious location. Luckily it is quite well sign posted but it does not have its own car park. The museum is quite small and packed in once get inside, but we spent a good hour and a half there. Unfortunately they do not allow you to take photos of the cars, which is a shame. Overall I think the museum is worth going to if you like cars or if you are movie of TV fan.
