I had a broken Christmas Tree stand for my 12' lighted Christmas Tree. I thought my choices were to buy a new stand, which would cost $35-45 and take some time to arrive or toss the whole tree. Instead, I took the old stand to Kirk Welding & they were able to weld it, probably stronger than it was made originally by the manufacturer for less than the cost of a new stand. It was nice to repair the existing stand, save a few dollars and support a local business.

New Healy coil. Old threads stripped out.

Place is great! They helped me chop down my stock exhaust down from my R6 and did what I wanted at a reasonable price for custom work. They added some Healy coils to my water pump on my boat. THANK YOU! Saved me hundreds so I didn't have to buy a new pump. The coils are as good as new if not better! The guys there are awesome! It's a welding shop! If u are looking for a "wipe ur a$$" kind of customer service, you will not find it here. But if you are looking for a friendly shop to help you with your metal work needs, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I have never had an issue with them and I have used them three separate times... Going on my fourth!

Good job and timely. I would definitely use their expertise again. They repaired a brace that broke part of a recliners frame.

Very helpful, thank you for your advice. Without that I would have spent $200. Would recommend to everyone.

Needed 5 pieces of 1 x 1 angle, they cut each to the length I needed and the price was a great deal.

Westside Welding is the only company that actually came onsite, measured, talked over the design and other options. His pricing was fair, clear, and definitely competitive with the other companies. Dillon was an absolute pleasure to work with. Top notch communication in terms of planning, scheduling, interruption of work, everything. He sent pictures of the work, he called to talk through options that appeared mid work. Billing was clear, on time and with no overages that I didn't specifically ask for. Dillon clearly takes a lot of pride in his work, and was as excited about my project as I was.

Dillon took an idea we had for our staircase from our descriptions and one internet photo, and made the exact thing we had in mind. They responded promptly when we contacted them and were professional throughout the transaction. They are personable and fun to work with. Their prices were very reasonable, especially after we saw the work that went into the railings. They went the extra mile to make certain we were happy. Dillon is an artist - he took the time and care to make certain the welds were almost invisible, had the metal powder coated, and visited several stores to get the perfect wood for the railing cap. I told him I wanted modern elegance and I am happy to say, imho, that's precisely what I got. We highly recommend Westside Welding Company for anything you might need.

I had to have them do several parts 4 times before it was even usable. They used duct tape to "plug" the fork openings in the motorcycle tripple clamp. It just made a huge sticky mess for me to clean up but the tape had covered sections that should be exposed. Now that I'm installing the parts i've had multiple locations where in just regular assembly (no hammers or force) the finish is flaking off. I can then just keep picking it with my fingernail. I also found that they had dropped my swingarm at somepoint before they powedercoated becuase the hole that my bearing needs to go in was clearly smashed in. Good luck to me getting a swingarm bearing back in a hole that isn't round anomore. There were also several times they told me my parts were ready and to come get them only for me to show up and the shop was closed with no one there. I did get a response when I texted but only to say they had left to go to another job, even when I had confirmed with them what time I would be there. Really bummed that I paid almost $400 for what ended up to be nothing but a hassle and a waste of time.

Poor communication and poor work quality…read more First off they have horrible communication. They hardly ever answer their phone, do not let you know when work is completed and don't communicate with each other what has been done and they don't meet the deadlines they set. I asked them to powder coat motorcycle levers and the work wasn't done right the first time, they forgot to sand down the ends as asked. The prep work was very poor. This was evident with all the uneven surfaces on the powder coat. Once they took them back to correct that, they again missed their deadline they set. They left the levers on the floor because one lever was scratched upon pick up. The employee seemed irritated this was brought up to them and he took the lever, sandblasted it and quickly put it in the oven for 10min where the powder coat didn't seem to cure. I would avoid this place as much as possible. They do not do quality work here.

We engaged Joe Hewatt (owner of Iron Joe) to install multiple fences across our property. The first red flag was when he committed to begin the job within two weeks after accepting the first installment of our payment and when the day arrived -- he was a no show. Not only did he not show up but there was zero communication. We reached out multiple times that day and the days following with zero reply. Nearly a week later he finally replied and had zero remorse. No apology for the delay or lack of communication. He then committed to beginning the job that following Monday. Monday rolls around and again -- he's a no show and there's zero communication. We follow up multiple times over the course of that week with no response from him. We ultimately ask for a refund and to cancel the job given his inability to perform the job timely and to the basic service quality we expect. He acknowledges that text with a "thumbs up" emoji and then again, no action and no further communication. It's now been nearly a month and he's stopped responding to our texts and answering our calls. We haven't received our refund. He scammed us out of thousands of dollars and I'm still in disbelief that this happened. Avoid this business at all costs!!!!!! I can't believe they call this a family business.
