Nice and clean, friendly staff, but like everywhere else in Europe, smoking is the official sport. This is quite annoying, and can make for a frustrating evening.
The room does not smell like smoke, but when you open a window for cool air ( no AC ), you will smell the smoke.
On the upside, once everyone is asleep, the quite evening really adds to the enjoyment. Almost no cars around, very quiet, very peaceful. Once the smoking stops, a lovely cool breeze rolls into the room. This has been the best sleep I have had in over a week in Europe. Firm bed, thick clean comforter, fluffy pillows.
Also, like many places, great breakfast downstairs. Again the staff were friendly and relaxed. Good coffee as well.
Overall, as long as you don't have to deal with smoke, this place is very good. read more
