I have been going to Kipling Heights for quite some time and the place has dramatically changed. The staff is very unfriendly and they make you feel as if they were doing you a favour just by talking to you. The wait is unbelievable!!! If you are thinking about going to see Dr. Praglowski you better take the day off work because you are going to be waiting for at least 2 hours until she calls your name and then there is another wait once you are in the doctor's room (she has two). The doctors aren't that much better, last time I went to see Praglowski she confused me with another patient and kept calling me by another name. If I could find another medical centre I would definitely leave Kipling heights. The place is not well maintained, the staff has a horrible attitude and the wait is ridiculous. read more

I went to the Kipling Heights Medical Centre in Etobicoke to see Dr. Praglowski. It was supposed to be my first appointment with her but it did not happen because I waited so long that I could not take it anymore and I left. I came there 10 min before my appointment and after I have waited 40 min past the appointment time I asked the staff when the doctor would see me. They said that it was normal to wait at least 1.5 hrs! I wish they had told me that when I was booking my appointment! I was supposed to be next though. So I waited another 30 min and nothing. People come and go (at this place there is a bunch of other doctors) but I keep on waiting there. Even people who came much later after me already left. I did not hear Dr. Praglowski calling any patients either. When I enquired passing staff about the waiting time she just barked something. So I came to the main desk and said that if I do not get called in the next 5 min I am leaving because the wait is so ridiculous. The staff could not care less. They are rude and unfriendly. They obviously are not fond of people and they treat the patients like a nuisance. I cannot say if the doctor is any good, because I have never met her but based on what I have experienced there and what I have seen I do not think that she is a doctor worth seeing. The place was dirty, poorly designed, the people (staff and the patients) were depressing. I decided to speak with the manager there Norma Oksner aka Norma Finkelstein. I called her quite a few times but there was always an answer machine (I guess she has better things to do than doing a job for which taxpayers are paying her). I left a couple of messages asking her to call me but she never did. If the manager does not care why should the staff? I have found out later that they have submitted a bill to OHIP for this appointment that did not happen! They are a bunch of crooks! Do yourself a favour and do not go to this place unless you want to get mistreated. read more

I am a patient at this medical centre. However I am choosing to change though for many reasons. This medical centres staff are unprofessional. They wear sandels in their office, slam doors, repeatedly run up and down the stairs. They are loud and rude on the phone, and leave me on hold 10-15 minutes. I always wait 3-4 hours waiting to see the doctor. Myself and other patients have talked about this during our waiting time and have discovered that they book us 5 minutes apart from one another. I have seen and experienced myself and others waiting and come to find out hours later that the secretaries havent even put our file through to the doctor. The secretaries there have also, breached confidentiality with me and my file. I had a test done and wanted the results. My doctor was on vacation so I had another doctor request the results of the test. Instead of sending my result over they toke the initiative to send my whole file to this doctor, which was suppose to be confidential. Then they sent me a bill for it! I have stayed with this medical centre for so long because I really do like my doctor, but I am so fed up with the staff there that I am forced to change. Sincerely, Sick of it!!!! read more

I booked an appointment to see Dr. Praglowski on 3rd January,2013. This was not my first time to see her so I knew I would have to wait for some 1 hour or more before consultation. I signed in at the reception and was ushered into a sit. I met two other ladies already waiting to see the same doctor when I inquired. I sat there for 45 minutes flipping through a fashion magazine, when Dr Praglowski called out for a patient to go into room 1 and then called my name to go into room 3. Well, that seemed a fast call today, just 45 minutes! I spoke too soon because I did not see coming what happened next! I sat in room 3 for another 45 minutes without seeing this Doctor. I was more unsettled seeing another doctor, Dr. Wong attending to his own patients quickly. Dr Wong saw a total of six patients while I waited for Dr. Prag. Then, I heard Dr Prag talking in the hall way to a patient. I stood up to go and approach her to remind her I was still waiting when I saw Dr Praglowski pull out a folder from the middle of the pile waiting for her attention and re-entered room 1. I moved closer to the shelf to confirm my folder's position and saw that my folder was the first in the pile yet she had pulled out the fifth folder! I felt really bad having waited for so long despite the pain i was in. I took some deep breaths to calm myself and went to the receptionist to inform her I wanted to leave because the Dr. Praglowski was not being fair. The receptionist tried to make me reschedule for another time but i refused and left. I have tried to speak with the Manager to no avail. I hope they do not send a bill to OHIP for this consultation that never happened. I definitely will like to monitor this. This was a bad experience and I hope nobody has to go through this with them again. read more
