Convenience Store in Kamppi I stopped in this R-Kioski for a…read moreham sandwich and a beer once I arrived in Helsinki. This store was warm, and they had a selection of about five different sandwich varieties to choose from. There were about the same number of beers in a cooler to select from. Not a great selection. They also seem to do postal stuff from these kiosks, with customers picking up and dropping off mail. I've heard that you can get streetcar tickets here, but I don't quite know how to ask for help for that. They offer a whole lotta snacks and coffee (Finland drinks a LOT of coffee.) It's not quite the best convenience store I've been to, but it was a welcome sight when it started to pour down snow. I'm surprised that there are so many slot machines in these places. I'm not sure what the "R" in R-kioski stands for. Maybe the K is Circle-K is "Kioski!"

Like other K-Markets, this is basically a convenience store where you go to get that one item you…read moreforgot to buy elsewhere. The store is cramped for space but usually not crowded, so checkout is generally fast.

They have the DVDs, candies, some magazines (not as many as the one in the railway station though)…read morethat typically every R-Kioski has. There's not too much you can say about convenience stores such as R-Kioski but I can say that every time I've come to this location, they've had friendly and fast service and that is the most important.

The staff at DNA phone Centre in Kamppi was rude and condescending and as I left they made anti-American remarks in Finnish. Yes, I understand but prefer not to speak. If you are from the USA you might get your phone minutes from another source than DNA Bruzzer
