The beer is great, you get not only Alt (they call it misleadingly lager, but it actually is Altbier, the best I know, and I know them all), you get also Weizen and Hell (it tastes like a very good Koelsch).
It is the most beautiful Brauhaus I know, very authentic, and, very typically for Krefeld, there hardly any tourists.
The kitchen is good. If you are bold, try the Mott Anton, fried black pudding with apple sauce, onions and meshed potatoes. In Cologne they call it Heaven and Earth, but this is better.
