For the past 2 years, twice each month we drive 85 minutes to go swimming in Moose jaw. After out experience today, we are seriously reconsidering the bother. We arrived at 3:29pm and the pool opens at 3:30pm. The line was not long when we joined it. But unfortunately the person in front of us was there to book a birthday party. This took both staff members to do.
Good customer service would have had the person pulled to the side to discuss the menu options, how to help the lifeguard with more than 10 kids, the fees for each child, student, teenager, location options., gees it went on and on. So many decisions. So much advice. ...it went on and on for 15 minutes, which really cuts into a kid's swimming time when the pool is open only 90 min. The biggest problem is that this is not the first time it has happened. Even a 10 year old is smart enough to suggest that they should have had the knowledgable person help and the cashier should have continued with the swimmers wanting to pay and swim.
When it was finally our turn, I couldn't help but suggest that we could be real losers and try to book a birthday party too so the guy with the 2 year old behind us could wait another 15 min while we get the spiel....and then not book.
Regina is close and their hours are better. And I bet it doesn't take 15 minutes to stand in line to pay there. Or try the spa. read more
