Just off the main drag in a plaza, this supermarket is great for grabbing essentials, beer, and more. It's the main grocery store servicing the entire Lake Placid area. I used the bathrooms which were clean and easy to find. They had the makeup remover wipes I had forgotten, and great snack options for the drive back home. I would recommend anyone coming into town to stop here!

Actually this pharmacy within this Kinneys store deserves LESS than a one star rating! Twice in the…read morelast week I have had drs. call in prescriptions. Neither time have they been ready after waiting all day to go pick them up. Today I waited until after 5:00pm to go into the store. The drs office told me they would be calling it in right away. ( This was about 9:15 this am.) The person at the counter told me that it would be in tomorrow at noon, and SHOULD be ready for pick up sometime after 2. Or I could wait 20-30 minutes and she could see if there was enough to fill my script! why in HE** had she not already done that! I had already made a special trip into Potsdam from Pierrepont approx. 8 miles away, to turn around and go back home, therefore another 8 miles! I AM DONE WITH THIS PHARMACY. They act like their time is valuable but the customer can pound salt! SCREW THAT, I'LL GO TO WALMART!
