Sofya Palma Vocal studio is the way to go if one wants to develop theirs or their child's voice and…read moreperforming skills. Sofya helped my extremely shy (sing-nonstop-but-only-home kind of shy) daughter to achieve her biggest dream - being admitted into Fiorello LaGuardia HS vocal program. Regulat recitals helped my daughter to start overcoming her fears of public performing. Actually, those recitals were also a showcase of the talents evolved by this great coach; I observed a significant improvement not only in my child's performance, but in other kids as well. Besides being a great coach, she knows what songs works best for each of her student and teaches them to love those songs; even if they may initially think of it as boring (kids sometimes think they know better;)). We are very grateful that we found Sofya by way of recommendation from another parent. Also, I heard from another parent to whom I recommended Sofya last year that her son got offer at the same LaGuardia HS school this year! Five stars experience!

Our three children aged 8 (boy), 11(boy) and 13(girl) truly enjoy attending her classes. She raises the bar of our expectations and pushes them without being overbearing. Within a few months the kids' voices grew exponentially. When it comes to preparing for auditions, she works tirelessly to land her support. Sofya has become an inseparable part of our family' s life! A thousand thanks to you Sofya!!!

His sessions were very helpful in demystifying strings, chords, and theory and the lesson plans were easy to pick-up when practicing throughout the week. I find one-to-one instruction very helpful as a learning medium as I can get questions quickly and efficiently answered and Alex was very helpful and had answers to my many questions. Highly recommend for musicians at all stages of learning.

Kenny was the first one to respond to me, and he not only answered all of my questions and concerns about the SAT admittance requirements. But he also offered an initial phone consultation for my son and me, where he took the time to walk us through a detailed tailor-made work plan of what we would do to achieve our goals; his pricing was direct and clear, with no small letters at the bottom of the contract - a straight shooter. We are in the middle of our program, so I can't tell you if my son will be accepted or not yet, but what I can tell you is that my son has improved from night to day since he started working with Kenny. So thank you for that, and once again, I highly recommend Kenny.
