I happen to live in the neighborhood and have a newborn. I walk by there everyday with my newborn…read morewhen the kids are outside to see how the daycare is for potential future daycare for my baby. I'm glad I do this as I just witnessed a cruel caretaker with an infant outside. The caretaker was a white female with short brownish hair. She had two infants one quietly lay on a shady area the other little boy with blond hair wearing a blue striped sweater today was put in a bouncer in direct sun view of his eyes. It was a very breezy day which my 4 month old hates because he can't breathe yet when it's super breezy. This little boy seemed 4-5 months cried relentless and caretaker ignoring his cries, maybe because the sun was in his eyes and the wind was too strong. Anyways I witnessed this caretaker yank the little boy from the bouncer by his legs putting him upside down. She didn't see me at first because I came from her behind. When she saw me she immediately became nice to the boy sat him on her lap and gave him attention. I told her "he must not like the direct sun on his eyes and it's too breezy for infants outside. My infant hates the sun and the breeze too and he would cry if I put him out like that." She said he will get use to it and went on to ignoring me. This was an eye opener as if anyone treated my infant that way and held him by the legs I would sue them. I tried calling the daycare to put in this complaint but they never answer. If you have an infant blonde wearing blue winter hat and blue striped sweater today I would recommend you not leave him at this caretaker's hands. She shouldn't be working with kids at all. After finally speaking with Tina who seemed to be uninterested in even asking which caretaker it was and who the child was, it made me even more concerned of what type of care these infants are getting. She just said "I will look into it." That's aweful response. If the caretaker treats this infant in this manner in plain sight outside, I can only imagine what she does behind closed doors. Needless to say, my newborn will not ever be going to this daycare which is conveniently a block from my house.
