If you are looking for someone to take photos at your wedding, hire a photographer. But if you want…read moresomeone who adds to making your day magical, wonderful and memorable and captures each moment of it from start to finish, then Mike Handelman is who you'll want. Mike came to us highly recommended by our wedding coordinator at our venue. At our first meeting, he made us feel comfortable and showed us that he valued our business even if we were working on a budget. All wedding sites and magazines tell you to invest in your photographer. We made the best decision with Mike. His packages are so diverse that I am sure you'll find something that will match your needs. What I appreciated with him the most was he was always mindful of our budget but did not scrimp us on the end product. Mike's style is classic and timeless. He captured the authenticity in us and did not force us to do things that made us look fake and awkward. That made our pictures priceless. He made us feel confident in what he does. We believed in his creative decisions, and we were not disappointed at all. Do an engagement session with him. We got to know him better, learned how to feel comfortable around a camera and also know what shots and poses work best for us. He makes you feel relaxed around him, and it helps! On the day of the wedding, he will be there at your private moments with your new spouse and you won't even know and care that he is there. Mike is incredibly experienced and professional. He worked well with all our other vendors especially our videographer. I could always count on Mike to respond quickly to any email or phone call. At one point Mike became my advisor and helped me in figuring out the timeline for my day. He is always on time (and by on time I mean he is 15 to 20 minutes early!!) He is well equipped and always carries backups in case something should happen.. He is so efficient that he blended in the crowd and I didn't even notice he was there. Suffice it to say, my husband and I are glad we met and found Mike. We gained a friend who captured every beautiful moment of our day, and made our wedding experience wonderful. Are we hiring him again? Of course!! We already told him we want him to do my maternity photos in the near future. :)

He was by far our least problematic vendor, and his results were comprehensive, thorough, artistic, and stunning. Joe's preferred style was photojournalistic / candid, but he was happy to take formal picture requests. Throughout the planning stage, Joe was on top of every important detail. We talked about what kinds of shots would be taken (candids-to-formals ratio), what formal photos were important to us, ceremony and reception logistics, etc. He was genuinely interested in helping plan a perfect day for us, and it was easy to see he really enjoyed his work. We felt he was invested in creating a quality product made just for us. He was very open and accessible throughout the whole process, gladly addressing any questions or concerns. The day-of was where Joe really stood out as a special addition to our wedding. He moved swiftly and confidently to get every angle, every shot in the vision we had planned. He was a man on a mission, and had my wife and I laughing by the end of the night at his tendency to sneak in at the perfect moment to snipe a shot. Despite his furtive, calculating efficiency behind the camera, Joe really made his mark on our day with his personality. His jocular, disarming, unassuming warmth was the best medicine for any wedding-day jitters. Joe even volunteered to make personal sacrifices to ensure our transportation logistics went smoothly... stepping beyond his job description to ensure nothing ruffled our feathers. For anyone looking to hire a photographer for any event, my wife and I strongly recommend Joe's services. You will not only receive high-quality photographs, but will get to work with a great individual.

I asked her how long it would take to set up and she told me 20 minutes. Went back in 20 still wasn't done and was asking me what background I wanted! This was discussed prior the the event! Our package included a photo album with all the photos that were taken, which she never tape or glued in the album. We had an after party in which the booth did stay, but she disappeared with no one to operate the booth! Finally she appears with a drink in her hand! So, I guess she wasn't drunk enough when she came in. It gets even better, when I approached her to tell her how upset I was she just stood and look at me with disbelief (can you imagine)? So, I sent her boss an email and called and left a message I still have not back! $700
