I've had two haircuts by Stephen. First one was good. I had real long hair and we were testing the waters. I came back after a few months lookin crazy, he cut it much shorter and I was skeptical. I didn't know what to think. But after a shower and drying it, it looks great. Long story short I have a girlfriend now. No shit. I ain't even lying. I look great man. Totally wouldn't have secured the bag if not for the cut. Thanks Stephen hahaha. . Either his website is rigged or he's just a freakin d*ck... I had been going to him for nearly 10 months and we were always cool. It was my birthday week and I had to cancel and reschedule appointments a few times. Maybe 3 times. On his end I guess he doesn't see it or he's just an oblivious idiot. I am a nice fellow and don't use vulgar words to describe people, but this was an exception to that moral code of ethics in my book. I scheduled an appointment (he kept cancelling them) so I finally went up to talk it all out with him. I had cash in hand and was going to reimburse whatever he "thought" was a no show. Ofcourse I always cancelled at least 24 hours in advance and the system would text me telling me "we are excited to see you at youre new time-frame" whatever time I had scheduled it at... as I walked up to his little hole in the wall one person business, he proceeded to verbally assault me in front of two clients, one of which he was cutting his hair. He stopped to come walk up to me and scream in my face. "Give me that $40 and get the f*ck out and never come back!!!!" Giving me the look of someone with the desire or inclination to hit someone(me) in the face. I told him one last time while he was 6 inches from my nose red and angsty as all hell. I remained calm the entire time. In my view I was shocked. I knew the guy was a low life but I didn't realize he had such extreme anger issues. I thought about calling the police but I knew that wouldn't do anything. Plus I'm not big on getting them involved unless it comes to that. Luckily, for his sake, he didn't punch me, and I peacefully walked away proceeding to go to another barber down at the gulch. I told them what had happened and they were shocked. They said they'd try to spread the word around. You may think this guy is the man when you first meet him and get a cut, but trust me, he wouldn't give 2 sh*ts about his clients unless they had gold hair. All he cares about is the fact that he never made it as a boxer/musician and is stuck cutting hair for the rest of his life which is cool with a lot of folks but not this guy. There's a whole in him like he's angry that he never got his golden ticket while watching other people receive theirs. Please read this and trust me on this one. Do not go to Stephan Bertram. You may walk out with a fresh fade and a bloody nose.... this is a warning to all that are still currently clients of this unpredictable man-child... Yes, This guy is a great barber and makes exceptional pomades all for $40+ but is crazy unprofessional. read more

That's because I woke up this morning before heading to the ol' chapel and thought, "Damn, this is a nice haircut".
