This post office is completely rude and unprofessional, and I also experienced racist behaviour from the staff. I went in to return a package for my mother which was purchased through eBay. On this occasion, eBay did not provide a QR code only a return address and asked us to go to our local courier to print a label. When I approached the woman at the counter, she asked for the QR code. I explained that I didn't have one and only had the return address. She told me they couldn't help without a QR code and that I must write the address on the package myself. I accepted that and went home. I then wrote out the address provided and came back. She asked me to place the package on the scale and then asked which country it was going to. I explained that I didn't know I had only written the return address given to us. She refused to help and told me I needed to figure it out myself. I asked if she could verify with the postcode I had provided, but she said no. I then looked it up myself and saw it was going to Lithuania. When I told her this, she gave me a look as if I was stupid and asked why I hadn't written that on the package. 1. How can I write something that I'm not aware of and 2. It wasn't provided to me as part of the return details. Instead of offering a solution, she continued to argue with and making it seem like it was my fault. This shows a complete lack of customer service training as she would have known not to argue with the customer as "the customer is always right". A professional member of staff would have listened, offered clear guidance, and helped resolve the issue. Instead, I was met with rudeness, disrespect, unhelpful, racist behaviour. I visited another post office in which they helped me with care. Unbelievable customer service. read more

Unbelievably patronising. Especially the younger woman. Why she would ever take a job in retail is astounding. The shop is dirty and there are all thes eabsurd rules about queueing which are unclear. However customers ar frequently berated for unfractions! A horrible place. Anyone in the Hammersmith are should use Sri Sri on hammersmith bridge road, they now do postage and small parcels and their staff are charming smiley and engaging. King St Post Office is the worst Post Office I have ever been in. read more

I dread going here every time. One of the worst I've been to, and makes me go out of my way to use evri, yodel etc at all costs (Which are actually MUCH cheaper unless you require contents insurance over a certain amount). Service like this is why Royal Mail is going down the pan. incredibly SLOW, drawn out service and rude. Always a long queue & always only one person serving even though there are two serving points. Always taking personal calls and making you wait longer too. Needs new management. read more

Such a lovely family post office! These guys have been here for ages, it really is a lovely atmosphere every single time I've come in. Both the man and the lady go out of their way to be helpful and make you smile. They are always nice to my kids when they come in and I've seen them bend over backwards for other customers too. It's so nice to have such a friendly family run post office in busy Hammersmith read more

Unnecessarily rude, miserable and unprofessional staff. Lacking in basic people skills, and inefficient customer service.

Have lived in the local area for years, over three decades and have had to use this post office several times. I try my best to avoid using them now, as for the most part they've been quite rude or passive aggressive with me over things that really don't require any such behaviour. For instance, simply locating the correct information on a document I was filling out. There is one lady there that has surprised me with her polite professionalism, but the last time I tried to post something there, they had decided to close in the middle of the day. I had rushed there to make it and carry on with errands for the day, unbeknownst to them, although they could clearly see me panting and sweating. They stood behind the glass counter and refused to serve me for another hour. These are hours that they are supposed to be open and even after I explained how important it was they still refused with no explanation. Even the lady that is usually polite. This kind of treatment is so infuriating as you often don't know what you can do about it. I thought this review might help spread the word in the kind of service you can expect in giving an honest representation of my encounters with them. With not much to do about it I had to go somewhere else and the package I was trying to post arrived late. I don't know how people in these local businesses continue to survive when they have little or no regard towards the community they are serving. I love to support local businesses when I can, but there are other post offices not too far from this one and I would strongly suggest using those instead! read more
