She collected $100 to reserve my case. After many calls and several emails (I live out of state or I would've just went to the office), a month passed before Daniel Talbert finally emailed me to mention I had tickets in another county that I should handle first which would require me hiring a lawyer in that area. So, I take care of that. That lawyer in particular took care of those 4 tickets in ONE WEEK. On August 22, I email Heather Bryant stating I'd like a refund since my new lawyer was just going to handle the case now. Two days later (over a month of still not actually speaking to Talbert), Daniel Talbert calls me once he hears I want a refund of my initial $100. The one and only time we've spoke via telephone. He carries on about how my previous tickets needed to be handled, he will take action once those are handled. He says Rutherford is small and I need a lawyer like him who "knows the judges". The new lawyer let me know that he could also handle the Rutherford ticket that Daniel Talbert still has not handled. So, I decide to let the obviously more proactive lawyer handle my whole situation at this point. Side note: New lawyer has to drive an hour and a half out of his way and his price remained the same. I contact Daniel Talbert's office asking for my refund again. I definitely need it at this point with all the money I've had to spend on this situation. Daniel Talbert emails me "Natalie: The $100 you paid would not be refundable since that is the consultation fee on criminal matters. If you would have retained on your cases, this would have applied toward fees but you evidently Mr. Roseman will be able to handle that as well. Miss Greene called after court, stated she had worked through her lunch and she had a ledger showing month to month, and I knew there would be trouble! She didn't wait for the DSS/Child Support office to figure out the overage, which would be free, as it's their job. She said took me for another $7,000, on top of the $1500 and another $2500+ AND just before our next court date, she said she was waiting for payment to show up and defend me. My wife, frantically ran outside, charged her CC for another $2000+, while I was praying my name wouldn't be called, then Miss Greene came is after getting between $7,000-$9,000 more. If you quote me for $1500 AFTER a $250+ consult 1.5-$1500, and know DSS manages the books, why would you jump and do it yourself at my expense without talking to me about it? Because at the end of the day, what is $29,000 of my hard earned money in an overage, if you have already gotten almost half, and I'm not even paid! She literally told me, "In November, if you want to take her to court, I'll help you"..Ummmm...help me what exactly? DSS would have ran the numbers for free and YOU NEVER spoke to me about clerical-line by line, that was gonna cost another $7000+. She DOES NOT represent the client, especially those Retired from the military on a fixed income. If it were up to her, as she's offered, I'd end up throwing half of my hard earned money to her, with no promise of getting it back! My wife and I both have Business degrees, and my wife even said she would run the monthly numbers, but Miss Greene said she has done it! Now what? I get the $29,000, pay the credit card that's taken 30% as I couldn't pay her that much, wouldn't have hired her-couldn't pay that much. So how after 30% interest payments, her fees will I THE CLIENT who's payed so much MORE for years get justice? By paying another woman who didn't ask! The only difference? The child's mother was honest when she said "I have no intentions on reporting the new income" Miss Greene? $1500 turned to $10,000+ real quick! Why? She created a monthly ledger, knowing damn well that's DSS's job! Spoke to DSS!!! Please avoid her, escoeciaoky if you are military or a veteran on a fixed income. She has no mercy, takes nothing from what she's learned that money isn't that flexible with everyone she meets. No discounted rate/GOT IT. Surprise Bills, holding services ransom until "gimme gimme gimmie" git more money. All those months I struggled paying more than double, triple and quadruple the Child Support obligation and struggled, ARE NOT justified by fruitlessly creating charges, and hammering the victim.
