She asked if I would consider changing it. And added if I keep getting the lack of communication that was so unacceptable. The next day I got an email stating they were sorry and the attorney assigned to my case got pneumonia. Hmmm, that attorney had 30 days before she got sick. And yet another continuance and did not notify me of anything. I thought they withdrew from my case and did not notify me on that either. I have made several requests for a referral of an attorney who could handle a Landlord Tenant issue. I was assured by the last person I would get that referral, I did not get it. I did change my review as she asked. But once the excuses kept coming. I decided to remove that review on another platform. I know yelp people can't pay to have negative reviews removed. Also, they kept sending me notices for reviews. They hadn't done a thing on my case and yet they wanted a review. I have not been to court to give a plea. They just got 2 contuances and they want their money for service not preformed because everyone is sick!!! I may reach out to the bar association. I'm tired of this dishonest law firm not keeping me informed and demanding payments. No one is ever in their office in Belton. I can prove my whereabouts. I am INNOCENT OF ALL CHARGES. Yet the very first attorney I spoke with said, " we will make a plea for a lesser charge. " I'm not pleading anything but NOT GUILTY.

After paying so much he became being disrespectful and threatening to quit. He is overbearing, and does not listen to his clients. We were not paying him to hear about his problems that he uses as excuses for work he should've already done. After over three years we still haven't gone to court. And when court was canceled the last time he showed up unprepared anyway and still hasnt set another date. Dragging us along so he can con more money, The only thing he was good at was giving receipts for the money he took. Which appeared to be all he was concerned with. If you want someone who will work for you and do what you're paying him to do, find a competent lawyer outside of this office. After I tried to talk ti him about the way he talks and disrespects my mother. He hung up on started refusing to speak to me. Over three years and $8000 all we have is receipts. Like I said we still haven't been to court it took him a year and a half just a file for a deposition but after that we were so committed financially. They say lawyers are crooks but this one cons you by trying to make him feel sorry for him. Playing on sympathy. Why can't you do this in court to help her case. A pathetic excuse for a lawyer, we payed you we did all the work, gave you all the evidence you needed and instead of building a case, you asked us to make the arguments for you. I…read moreexplained my situation with a car dealership and he said it would be easy to write the letter I was requesting. He seemed so confident and acted as if it were no big deal, so I sent him an e-mail with all pertinent pieces of information, including a good deal of research I'd already done, and I half-expected to have the letter the next day, based on what he communicated during our conversation. Fast-forward two weeks, and I've heard nothing, so I get back in touch to see the status, and I'm passed off to a paralegal, who asks me for some information I've already provided and wants to set up a phone meeting. I explain it's much easier for me to converse via e-mail, and she agrees, then days go by without receiving the questions via e-mail. Three more months of this sort of interaction transpire with her saying she's going to e-mail me or setting up phone appointments that she no-shows after I've arranged my day around being available to her. In the end, they submitted the letter directly to the dealership without first having me review it. It contained typos and did not include the demands I asked for in the beginning, which I have in writing that Mr. Quitmeier agreed was the right approach. Instead, they called the dealership a few more times and were apparently ignored, so they claimed they'd done all they could, and informed me it was not safe to take my vehicle to that dealership anymore, because we've angered them. I ended up with no money, a lot of wasted time, and now I can evidently never own a Honda without driving 25 min to have it serviced at the next dealership. Our last interaction was in January, when I asked for a document stating what calls were made to the dealership, but have yet to receive it. Mr. Quitmeier and his assistant were always pleasant when speaking to them, but their performance did not come close to matching their conversation.

His assistant Adrienne is also amazing--so patient and kind. I would recommend Jerry time and again, no matter what others might say. Just be upfront with him; if you're not honest, he might get upset, but he truly has your best interests at heart. He resolved my divorce case much quicker than my previous lawyers, and he doesn't waste time--he gets the job done!

I had not heard anything from his office in over two weeks from our initial consultation. My case…read morewas not a complicated matter that should have only taken a few phone calls and some redress of legal documents, but my case is moving slowly, some of which is due to the other attorney not returning his calls. He has been in this area for a long time and understands the local judicial system, which is a huge plus. Advice would be nice, but I don't get that from Doug, instead it's more a lets wait and see which is great for his bank account. I've been getting notices for payments up front. I just get the sense he's in this for his interest (after all, he's getting paid, the other lawyer is getting paid all while nothing is getting done, and why should it since either lawyer is getting paid!).
