Generally, when I ask for a lot of pressure, therapists just don't get it. This therapist totally did. She did a great job, was super friendly, did not talk too much during the massage, and offered me a discount on my next appointment. Thumbs up for sure. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the atmosphere. There were 4 kids in the lobby, being really loud, which I could hear over the music in the massage room. Also, I don't really care about this since I knew it was a dr's office, but the decor, etc. is not really overly soothing, relaxing, etc. It's pretty dr-like in decorations, but if you are like me and seriously just want a good massage, it's fine. I don't need fancy. Others would not like this though, if they are looking for a spa experience. Also, I screwed up on my appointment time, thought it was 530, it was really 500. They were totally understanding and took me late (I got there at 510). Would totally recommend (oh, and their prices are great for massage).

My second treatment was 2 weeks ago and NO cramping. The Doc said I may only need a treatment every 3 months to keep my neck straight. He also gave me some very easy exercises to do that will make my forearms stronger. I'm glad they are so easy or I wouldn't do them. I work at a computer all day so I can't have my hands cramping up. I am so happy! Thanks Dr. C

I suffered from severe chronic muscle tightness in my rhomboids for one year before coming to Cousineau Chiropractic. This condition adversely affected my life in several ways. They employed a collaborative multi-therapy approach. All three doctors treated me and consulted with each other to determine the best approach for me. Before Cousineau, I tried several different therapies, none of which worked. I was also misdiagnosed by an Orthopaedic surgeon and recommended to physical therapy, which did not work. Dr. Porter is a gifted healer who adjusts me gently and precisely. My pain disappears. He has…read morehelped me, and many other patients for nearly thirty years, and his skills continually improve. In recent years, he's been certified in NRT (Nutrition Response Testing) and practices only that on certain days of the week. I encourage everyone to be evaluated nutritionally by Dr. Porter. His findings are remarkable, and defy conventional medical explanation. But he discovered, and prescribed supplements for, several low level but debilitating conditions, which are now under control. Literally, within weeks of taking the supplements he prescribed (and not changing my eating or exercise habits), I had lost 5 lbs, and am on my way to losing another 5 to get to my normal weight. Dr. Porter does not use diversified chiropractic adjustments (which feel to me like I'm being cranked unpleasantly), but only gentle and precise techniques. He'll keep your body tuned, and he'll adjust your nutrition to cure what ails you.
