I've been having issues with my left knee since before I turned 60. My wife and I *LOVE* to hike,…read moreand are not willing to sacrifice that for an "old age" problem. Oh, and we just moved to Barcelona, and don't speak Catalán. 8-0
Despite all of that, my wife found Dr. Cerrato on the interwebz, and we set up an appointment for our first week here... that was three visits ago.
Dr. Cerrato has been doing this work since 1987, and clearly knows his stuff. Between his English, my Castillian, and a fair amount of pointing and grimacing, we were able to discern my problem. ...and with his command of the language of physiology, he's been able to bring relief to me, and create a plan to eventually render himself unnecessary. What more could you want from a PT?
If this review were strictly for the good doctor, it would be a clean 5-stars. I only dropped it to a four because of his space - it's in Barceloneta (the old fishing village by the beach) where buildings are OLD, TINY and CRAMPED. I'm not a large man, but I do find myself having to shuffle sideways into his reception area, and then hold my arms in so I don't bump into things. Clearly, Catalán fishermen were not big people. ...but truly, that's the only ding against this practice!
If you're in town and in need of some PT (especially myofascial release), give the good doctor a call. You, too, will become a fan!
