I really love how the entire process is streamlined in the theatres in Holland, where you self select your pre-bagged popcorn fresh from the shelf (kettle corn, butter, or plain!), soda/water, and candy. Once you've picked up your goodies, head over to the cashier to pay for the treats and get your tickets. Makes this go a lot faster than waiting in line twice! The theatre is spacious and clean, with plenty of movies to choose from. American films are a bit delayed coming here, but it has gotten a lot better over the years. I didn't pay for my ticket so I can't recall how pricey it is compared to the US but you're [probably] on vacation so kick back, munch on some delicoius popcorn, and enjoy yourself!

We got to see four fraud themed movies that day. Some theater rooms were small and these rooms probably can accommodate 50 people. But, room #1 was huge and this room also had booth section seating. The basement area had the coat check and restrooms. I think this movie theater has other events throughout the year besides being a regular movie theater for most of part. The location for the Pathé is great and it's accessible by metro and tram.

I visit a lot of cinema's like Pathé, Kinepolis and more but VUE is my favourite. The decoration, foods and snacks, clean feeling of hygiene and the Dolby Cinema area's are making it perfect for me.

You can actually get your beer in a glass here too which is a nice change. Usually they have a break in the film too so you can fill up or use the toilet. Since I have nothing to complain about and this is a nice new cinema I have to give it five stars. This area is also getting nicer with the Woodstone Pizza next door and a few other bars popping up close by. If you're ready for a night out, that should be a good combo. I have even heard they have events there and Wednesday seems to be ladies night, whatever that may entail.

My only dissatisfaction in the experience was the food. My wife at the gnocchi and I had the rump steak. Both were below expectation. This is a shame because I feel this concept could strike gold especially as the hipster scene is becoming more prominent in Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the movie theater itself was a very cool experience. The theater has an antique feel transporting you back in time. Overall a positive experience. If they could improve the quality of food and have a more seamless transition from restaurant to movies I think this could really take off.
