My son was 10 months in this kindergarten and it came to the point that we could not take him there…read moreanymore. This kindergarten is fine for kids that are obeying all the rules and do not complain or cry. Our son is regular boy toddler, searching the limits and does not obey all the rules. He has tantrum episodes that got severe while he was going to Heidi kindergarten, becuse something upset him there. Their advice was to visit psychologist, which we did and we were assured that everything is ok with our son. Assistant in Heidi that worked with my son was lady that openly showed that she does not like him because he is not 'good' kid. Other parents in Heidi also did not like her, because she was screaming at the kids regularly. I was complaining to the manager about her and the response was striking (our son is the worse kid she ever saw and she cannot do much about assistant not liking him) after which we decided to change the kindergarten. He is now almost 3 years old and in new kindergarten everything goes well. He still does not obey all the rules, but he is still learning and in new kindergarten they know exactly how to deal with it cause it is a normal toddler behaviour. So, Heidi kindergarten is not recommended for tantrum prone toddlers, meaning almost all toddlers. Good luck if you ever end-up there! p.s. They are not taking kids under 3 years old out as it would be expected. When we went there for 2 months of trial period in summer, they did not go out once!

From the owner: Wir sind eine kleine Kindergruppe für 2,5- bis 6-Jährige. Malen und basteln, lesen und spielen,…read moretanzen und klettern, streiten und dann wieder kuscheln - soziales Lernen, freies Spiel und Bewegung stehen bei uns im Vordergrund. Wir machen viele Ausflüge, Spiele, besuchen öfters Theatervorstellungen, gehen ins Museum, Turnen und vieles mehr. So oft wie möglich machen wir auch einen größeren Ausflug. Toll ist, dass wir gleich beim Währinger Park angesiedelt sind, wo wir an heißen Sommertagen ins Familienbad gehen. Aber wir feiern auch gern oder fahren einmal gemeinsam für ein Wochenende weg z. B. auf einen Bauernhof. Unsere Kindergruppe versteht sich als ein gemeinsames Ganzes von Kindern, Eltern und BetreuerInnen. Die Eltern sind aktiv gefordert und vielfach in das Gruppenleben eingebunden, sei es durch die Elternabende, oder das einfache Da-Sein und noch in der Kindergruppe plaudern - oder gemeinsames Feiern. Die Gruppengröße beträgt 14 Kinder, von den drei BetreuerInnen sind täglich zwei anwesend, sowie ein/e FreiwilligeR des europäischen Austauschprogramms Melange (grenzenlos).
