I started seeking chiropractic help when I injured my neck badly. Most of my life, I have been terrified of chiropractors. I cringe at the sound of bones cracking. I have been seeing Dr. Sheena for approximately a year now. When I first came to see her I had almost constant back, neck and shoulder pain. That is not the case now! I have been seeing dr Sheena for 4 months or so. I am 100% veterans administration rated for brain and back injuries, and other injuries. Before dr Sheena, I would Suffer migraines 3 to 4 times a week, and pain in my sacrum that would put me on my knees where I could not walk through house. Since seeing her, I have been feeling very balanced, my migraines are only, 1 a month if that, and my general mood is very positive. Also I suffer from bi-polar depression with wild mood swings from mania to depression, that has balanced out where I'm just general smiling about nothing, but smiling at everything. I was suffering from lower back discomfort for several years and was receiving weekly chiropractor adjustments for some time. I also had some hip pain I was trying to relieve. After 2 years of "having" to get adjustments to get rid of the discomfort, I discovered Dr. Sheena through a co-worker. Dr. Sheena's treatment is very holistic, treats the body as a whole and the goal is to heal so you DONT have to keep going back for more treatment. After my first few appointments, I noticed a big difference. My dull back pains were diminishing and after a long period of standing (that's when I was sore most) I was no longer having discomfort! By the 3rd month I no longer had the hip pain! Unfortunately I moved away out of state so I'm not able to meet with Dr. Sheena anymore, we had about one more month of treatment left. It's been about a month now and I still feel great. I don't have the "urge" because of back pain to have to go find a new chiropractor immediately to feel better.
