I recently had the luxury of staying at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Grand Cayman, and it was a beautiful vacation and experience that exceeded all expectations. The staff made me feel like a treasured guest, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable vacation for our whole family! Especially our 3 year old son! The warmth and hospitality of the staff at Kimpton Seafire are unmatched. Each team member, from the front desk especially ana to the housekeeping staff, treated us like family. Everyone was helpful to offer recommendations on local attractions or ensure that I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, or getaway . It was evident that the staff takes great pride in their work and in providing an unforg experience for every guest. They provided me towels for the trip to the turtle sanctuary and waters for the trip there! The property itself is breathtaking. The expansive pool area invites relaxation, with the best poolside service and staff! Huge shout out to TAMOY! She was a big highlight for us on our vacation! She was unbelievably sweet and funny and became like a second momma to our son while at the pool! the pristine beach offers the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the crystal-clear waters. They provide everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach from snorkeling gear to kayaks and even small boats! My room was spacious, clean, and has a private balcony with spectacular ocean views. The restaurant Cocoloba at the resort is also a highlight, it's right on the beautiful beach and it's just so perfect. The cat Garfield that hangs out there is so cute and sweet The tacos are amazing and so is the birria ramen my favorite dish is the beef tylada on the appetizers! It's like a Mexican pizza but it's so good! I left with my heart full and a promise to return. If you're seeking a top-tier resort experience in Grand Cayman, look no further than Kimpton Seafire!

The Kimpton Seafire never disappoints. They are big on service and reward their loyalty members above and beyond any other IHG property that we have been to. From start to finish 10s all around. Our 3rd time here and staff remember us and we remember the staff, just like family! The beach is amazing. Happy hour is always my favorite. You can not go wrong at this property

I can't wait to return!!! It's not often we visit a resort that exceed our expectations. Everything was next level amazing!!! Shortly after booking and receiving a confirmation, I received contact from the concierge. The only thing I requested assistance with was booking the Chef's Dinner as that needed to be booked in advance. This meal ended up being one of the highlights of our stay and absolutely incredible! Best dining experience (possibly ever). Check-in was a breeze. Best customer service. All guests are also given a quick tour prior to heading up to your room. The grounds are immaculate! Gorgeous pool area with top notch service. The beach area with chairs for guests is quite large. There are several restaurants on the premises plus a cool bar right off the lobby. We had a rental car, and each time we called for our car, the valet had it ready in minutes. Always being offered towels and water for the car ride was a nice touch. These little things among so many more helped to make our visit so memorable. The other best part of our stay was the room. (We were upgraded based on status.) A suite so big and beautiful, with lovely decor, a wrap around balcony, and true comfort. The hardest decision each day was to enjoy the room or facilities. We found the happy balance of both. With an ocean view of all of Seven Mile Beach and the sunset, we enjoyed every minute of our time there.

These pictures are worth a thousand words. Views are amazing, beach is amazing, service is top notch. You are treated as kings and queens at this place. They do make you feel very special. If you're at the Cayman, you have to book at the Kimpton. You know what I don't miss? The hoards of people that put their belongings on the bench to reserve a seat. We will definitely come back to the Kimpton, if not here, then at other locations they have. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

A hotel so outstanding its reason alone to visit the island. From the moment we arrived in our rental car and had our first interactions with the friendly and helpful bell staff and our fantastic orientation to the hotel by Kylie you could tell this was something unique. While we've stayed at other Kimpton and always relish their flair and style, this newer beach hotel is much larger than say the Portland, San Diego or Palm Springs hotels and the vast majority of the rooms in the ten story building have views of the ocean. Our room, 925, was one of just 5 on each floor without the ocean view but we enjoyed being able to sit out on our comfortable patio and have the shade of the building to enjoy a break from the hot sun. We stayed for 5 nights taking advantage of all the island sights and scenery. The excellent concierge Christian was of great assistance to us in filling out our itinerary and helping with dinner reservations. The hotel is located on the northern part of the seven mile beach with its clear water and oh so soft sand and far from the swarm of cruise ship passengers in George Town, yet close to activities and nice restaurants. While not great for walking given a fair amount of erosion and steep embankments, the inviting water was warm and so vey clear and blue. In addition the hotel has a large multi-sectioned pool with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The helpful pool staff will set you up with towels and move the umbrellas to your liking. There's also free spf 50 suntan lotion and water in several spots by the pool and beach. Of course there are also servers to take orders for food and drinks. The hotel room itself was very nice too with tall ceilings, an enormous shower and fun hip colors. We had a full closet and plenty of room in which to settle in. Be sure also to find time to enjoy a curated cocktail in the lobby bar called the Library; each signature drink inspired by a great literary work. I like the one based on Murder on the orient express. Is this place oure paradise-almost. It's not cheap and there are healthy ($80 daily) resort fee that covers things like free kayaks at the beach and snorkel gear and parking then there's another "service fee" on top that for us was even higher per day that is the automatic tips they include on all your interactions with the staff-so there's really no need to tip the pool attendant or valet for example. A great hotel if you can afford a splurge to enjoy the sun. Highly recommended

Move over Motel 6 and Super 8, this is a 10/10 for sure. OMG IHG! What a gem of a hotel. This has to be one of the best hotels ever! Everything from arrival to checking in to service by every staff member we encountered, this place was nothing short of amazing. The architecture is modern and warm. If you sit in the lobby or in the room or at the pool and just admire the building and grounds, you'll see what I mean. Wood and metal work well together, as does the lighting and decor. Breathtaking no matter where you decide to park your rear for a few hours. I think almost every room has an ocean view of some sort, the way they're angled. We got upgraded to an ocean front suite (it's good to be Elite) with a kitchen, dining room, and separate bedroom. The bathroom had a tub and a huge shower. The corner suite had motorized curtains so you could "unveil" the awesome ocean views. We were appreciative of the upgrade and enjoyed our stay there. Dining options are limited so keep that in mind if you're staying longer than a few nights. Here's a quick rundown: Library by the Sea - Great place for cocktails and light bites. I could have drank here all night. Ave - This is the main restaurant at the hotel where they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and the most amazing Sunday Brunch buffet. They also have a nice bar! The cuisine is mediterranean. Avecita - This section of Ave has a separate menu from Ave (Spanish tapas) and the Chef's tasting menu (make reservations in advance) Coccoloba - This restaurant on the beach serves a variety of dishes and I think this is where some of the poolside food comes from. The food at the pool was great too! We didn't get to experience the amazing looking spa, as the appointments were all booked when we arrived. If you want to get a massage or a treatment, then I'd recommend you book in advance as well. There are a few stores to pick up accessories, souvenirs, sundries, as well as a small cafe with coffee and pastries. I think I saw a cigar section too, but never saw it open. This place has everything you need, including 24 hour room service if you just want to enjoy the views sitting naked on the floor Imbruglia style. Wanna go here, sign up for the IHG Credit card, get 140,000 bonus points, and get 2 nights paid for here! This is proof the IHG rewards program is the best hotel rewards program. Not only would I stay here again, I'm already saving points for next time! And with Southwest Companion Pass, you can't afford not to go!

My first time in Grand Cayman and this was an unforgettable vacation!! We have stayed at many Kimptons and this is hands-down the BEST Kimpton we've ever stayed at. Amazing room with a beautiful view. Service top-notch!! All the hotel and restaurant staff are amazing. All the amenities are great! Beach chairs, and complementary SPF 50 Sun Bum sunscreen and complementary snacks throughout the day. Water toys, including paddle boards, water tricycles snorkel gear Hobie Cat and GoPro all included in resort fee. Just don't forget your mini SD card for the GoPro and if you forget it, you can purchase it there for $25. We also used the complementary bikes and biked to the north to some secret snorkel spots off the beaten path. Social wine hour nightly with complementary snacks; options for kids available too. Most importantly a surprise engagement on the beach, which the staff I found out after the fact we're all in on it. They were all so gracious and congratulatory. Champagne and chocolates sent to the room. Comp'ed champagne at Library by the Sea and also Coccolobo Restaurant. Big shout out to Arpi and Paula!!! They really know how to make a vacation very special. What an amazing trip we will never forget... thank you, Kimpton Seafire!!!

We visited Avecita to enjoy a fun tapas type of experience. This place didn't disappoint. We did start at the hotel bar and had a cocktail/wine. The cocktail I had was an amazing take on a whiskey sour. The ambiance is upscale in both locations and a trendy Mediterranean feel. Then we ordered a few small plates and dug in. The agree ham was very good but super thin. Pair with the bruschetta and the cheese plate we had was perfect. We also had a spiced shrimp and the octopus ceviche (not pictured) what both were amazing. Finished with the strawberry cheesecake and sorbet which was perfect. The sorbet had a nice balance of basil nosed in and was fresh tasting. It was an amazing dinner experience with fantastic service. A must for anyone visiting the island. Cheers!

I've stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Panama, the W hotel in Dubai, the Ritz Carlton in Turks and many other amazing 5 star hotels around the world and NOTHING has come close to the experience I had at the Kimpton from 6-/16-6/19. Despite the good reviews, I was hesitant to book at first because I wasn't sure it'd be better than the Ritz. I ended up booking it through American Express's Platinum Fine Hotels & Resorts. Shortly after booking, I received a personalized email from Jon at the Front Desk thanking me for booking as well as providing me with lots of information ahead of my trip. He answered all the questions I had which made me more excited for my vacation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Eni at the front desk, served a glass of rosè and some chocolate. She gave us all the information we needed and we were able to check into our room. Justyne (spell check) brought up our bags and was as kind as anyone could be. There was also a small gift waiting in the room for me as the hotel acknowledged my birthday, despite it being a month ago. The hotel was immaculate, the room was spacious and the amenities were amazing. Every morning, there was coffee and tea available for guests and there was happy hour from 5-6pm, everyday. We ate breakfast at Ave every morning, which was delicious!! While we got to explore the island, the best part of the trip was Kimpton. At no point did you want for anything because the staff was always there, ready to ask if you needed anything. They truly go above and beyond, even having a downtime in the evening where housekeeping comes to tidy up the room again. I'm still in awe of how exemplar the service was. So many hotels could learn a lot from Kimpton.

On my first day I went to the pool. We also took a look at the menu and the prices weren't insane but there was gratuity which made the food prices seem higher. We went to the restaurant Avecita and had some good tapas. On the second day we went to the pool again. For dinner we went to Ave and we got steak there which was delicious but again when we got the check it was a bit expensive. Day three the concierge recommend The Cayman Turtle Centre which was my favorite part of the trip. It is a manmade pond thing where there are turtles and fish inside. You would snorkel and swim with the turtles and fish which was one of my favorite part of the trip. The employees at the resort recommended Peppers for food. It was ok, but it had a nice vibe. During the fourth day we went to the water sports and I went on the jet ski which was amazing, I then went on the oversized water trike. For dinner we went to Ave and we tried a different steak which was delicious. On the 5th day we went to the sting ray bay. For dinner the concierge recommended the Bacaro which was definitely the best thing we had while we were on the island. I am so glad we picked this hotel to help plan out stuff to do on the island or stuff to do there. This is why I would recommend Kimpton. Ps: The cafe was also amazing!

Spent the last 9 days here and had the most wonderful time. From the moment you walk in, you can immediately tell that service is a priority. From the pool side concierge (Gabriel is the best!), to the servers at Cocoloba, to the turn down service, the Kimpton does a great job of taking care of you and making sure everything is up to par. The restaurants are great. The elote and the shrimp tostadas and pork belly tacos at cocoloba are amazing. The guac and salsa is skippable as are the fish tacos. Absolutely make reservations for the Sunday brunch and the Pintos x Paellas on Wednesday. The chefs at Ave and Avecita (not sure why they call it 2 restaurants...it really seems like 1) spin up delectable concoctions at these buffet like meals (I don't even like buffets), and the Pantry at the Seafire has the most amazing cronuts! The spa is also wonderful. It's a little small, but that's to be fair expected with this boutique style hotel. My only complaint is that there isn't an in lobby bar but they have wonderful wine hours from 5-6pm every night and free coffee and tea every morning which is a plus. Overall, a 10/10 stay at the Kimpton. I look forward to returning!

Beautiful amenities and resort (except for some surrounding construction..so beware). Upon arrival, guest services were phenomenal: prompt check-in, early check-in, luggage delivered to room within minutes, given a complimentary full case of water....yup, these people are extra...and Im here for it! Didn't get to try the spa or the other amenities offered such as complimentary non motorized water sports and their restaurants, due to conference itinerary and scuba diving excursions, but when I come back....its definitely on! Ok..yelp peeps..yes, its pricey...and even a few of the other guests seemed a little bougie (my advice-its just the cayman islands-seriously relax), but overall, I highly recommend this place! This is definitely an excellent venue for a destination wedding or significant event celebration!
A very modern and well appointed resort with all of the amenities you could hope for. A beautiful beach and a water park for the little ones. A gorgeous pool and beachside service for food and drinks. Make sure to visit some literary inspired specialty drinks at the library bar. A great ambience with outstanding cocktails. Although all of the resorts in Grand Cayman are beautiful, Kimpton stands out as one of the best. read more
I can't go on enough about the quality of this resort! To start, the property was stunning. There were so many private lush little sitting nooks to sit back and relax. The pool was lovely and just steps from the gorgeous Seven Mile Beach. Upon checking in, my husband and I were greeted with glasses of rose and pieces of chocolate fudge. After check-in, we were whisked away by hotel staff to give us a brief tour/overview of the resort and its offerings. We only experienced one bizarre glitch (too long a story) during our 8 night stay which the hotel swiftly accommodated for with a 200 dollar credit to use on site. The hotel provided a daily happy hour from 5-6 which offered a tasty appetizer and red/white wines. Overall, the restaurants on site were pretty good, however, the cafe stole the show on the food front! The Creme Brûlée Berliners were perfection and every other pastry we tried was excellent! Each staff member from poolside to housekeeping greeted us warmly and seemed eager to please. We definitely will return! read more
This is a review for Ave, the amazing o beautiful restaurant at Seafire. I am now so intrigued. The meal/dinner was exquisite with great attentive service ( I had a few allergies), creative dishes without much fuss and many options labeled on the menu for those sensitive to shellfish, dairy, gluten and nuts. My dish was lamb and it was presented in a cool way. I often order lamb at my fave places so I've seen a lot of amazing plating ideas. Everyone enjoyed every minute. No surprises on the bill and it was def a special place to celebrate some family milestones and soak in the best of Seven Mile Beach. I wonder what ppl say about this hotel vs Ritz! I so loved the decor and lanterns as we arrived/left. Felt like a get away. read more

Counting DOWN until a return visit! Absolute perfection through and through - from the views, grounds, level of service, and amenities, the Seafire is one of the most incredible hotel experiences I've ever had. Kimpton is one of my favorite hotel brands and walking into the impressive lobby space and seeing the gorgeous decor and meeting the wonderful team just solidified that this was the right choice for a Caribbean getaway/late birthday celebration. Not only is it located a short drive from the airport, but you're immediately welcomed in by their front desk team (and given a cold glass of sparkling rose, which was an added and unexpected plus - huge thanks to Nataly for making check in an absolute breeze). The rooms are beautifully appointed with balcony spaces that are big enough for morning yoga on the balcony (they also offer a ton of classes like yoga - including paddleboard yoga - and Pilates for guests), beautiful decor that was tropical without being cheesy, plus a massive bathroom and huge closet (with plenty of hangers). The resort itself is STUNNING with lush grounds, gorgeous decor, and so much natural light everywhere - it's truly an interior design/aesthetics DREAM. The people are WONDERFUL. From the front desk team, the valet team (who will also call you a cab if they're not able to drive you somewhere close by), the pool/beach attendants, bartenders at the pool bar - everyone is absolutely the epitome of professionalism and genuine friendliness. The speed of service was also incredibly impressive as well - drinks came out at LIGHTNING speed even in the extreme heat (with a UV index of 12 at some points!) - service charges were built in to the tabs everywhere, however knowing how fast people were hustling in extreme heat had us tipping on top of the total. Also, the housekeeping and turndown service were genuinely the best I've ever experienced at any hotel I've been to - they are truly the unsung heroes who organized everything, were so timely, and meticulous. Oh my god the FOOD and DRINKS. I could write an actual love letter to the experiences that we had at Ave and Library by the Sea (Coccoloba as well, but since they have their own page, I'll do a separate review there!). We ate at Ave twice - once for an 8:30 PM reservation and once for a 6:15 PM reservation so that we could enjoy the sunset from the outside space. If your table isn't ready, you can grab a drink at the beautiful bar (pro tip - they make a rum old-fashioned!) before heading to your table. We were lucky enough to have May serve us on both occasions and I cannot say enough positive things about her energy, friendliness, and just overall positive energy - she was an absolute gem and an incredible server. The food was also NEXT-LEVEL delicious - options to order a ton of hot or cold tapas to share, incredible entrees, and various tasting menus. Library by the Sea is the most incredible cocktail experience I've had in my entire life - we ended up going every single night for either pre or post-dinner drinks (or both on many occasions). Not only does the menu feature incredibly unique cocktails inspired by literature (ones I never thought I'd try/enjoy as much as I did - like a Negroni that had carrot in it inspired by Peter Rabbit or an It inspired peanut butter bourbon cocktail - complete with a paper boat as a topper), but they also make the best espresso martini I've ever had and have an extensive wine list as well. The bartenders were what made the place though - huge shout out to Tom, Achille, Silvia, Jess, and Jack for the company, stories, and laughs along with the absolute life-changing cocktails. I genuinely cannot wait to be back there (likely overstaying our welcome). All in all, Cayman has become my favorite island I've visited in the Caribbean and the incredible time at the Kimpton Seafire had a LOT to do with it. Excellent through and through in every way. read more

Reviewing for the restaurant, Ave, since it does not have it's own page. But also a little review of what we saw of the resort. Entering the resort felt very comfortable and grand. It was super clean and a beautiful building. Great landscaping, lighting, and decor. We weren't sure exactly how to enter the restaurant so we must have looked a little lost and a friendly staff came to help us within minutes. The restrooms were very comfortable and clean as well. The restaurant was bright with warm lighting and welcoming ambiance. Seating was super comfy, both the chairs and the booth type seats. Our server was super friendly and helpful. She had a very upbeat and bubbly demeanor. The menu had a lot of options and there was a separate vegetarian/vegan menu. It's an expensive place, but no more than your typical fancy island restaurant. The food was so good! I got a vegetarian asparagus and leek risotto which was so good and filling. For dessert I had their well known baklava gelato. I tried a lot of my friends' stuff too and everything was great including the cocktails. I would definitely return if I went back to Grand Cayman. read more

So many hotels could learn a lot from Kimpton. read more

Absolutely the greatest visit! Gorgeous room, impeccable service, awesome food, beautiful room with a great view - I can't say enough about this property and it's staff! It's pricey but worth every penny. You won't regret staying here! read more
Disclosure: our visit was in May 2019. There is so much to love about this resort! We had the best time on the property! Partially as it was a work sponsored bonus trip which made it all the more enjoyable. We stayed here in May 2019 for fun-filled, relaxing 5 days. The resort was fairly new at the time, built right on 7-mile beach with close proximity to the town. Everything was seamless and 5 star from the front desk to the daily evening turn down service. Part of our package included breakfast at the main restaurant - great food offerings which changed daily. I did a separate review for the beachside bar, Cocoloba, as we had such great service, food and drinks there, too! The resort has a lot complimentary amenities including stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and other water activities. Beachside service was absolutely phenomenal! We also took bikes from the resort and rode into town for a morning. Sunsets from the hotel are just epicly beautiful. For the best view of sunset, definitely stay on the beach. read more

Ps: The cafe was also amazing! read more
Spent the last 9 days here and had the most wonderful time. I look forward to returning! read more
Beautiful amenities and resort (except for some surrounding construction..so beware). This is definitely an excellent venue for a destination wedding or significant event celebration! read more
Hands down one of the most amazing hotels we have stayed at. We came here for our babymoon and we had the most relaxing times ever. The good is great and the service is EXCELLENT!! My husband and I left very content and this visit exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you Kimpton staff for making our babymoon such a special one read more

Love this resort'! It's a great spot as there is a much larger beach area than most locations on seven mile. I ran seven mile so I could see the beach area at Seafire was much larger than most. Seafire is competing with Ritz so the service is top notch. Ave restaurant is phenomenal for breakfast but pricey. Service is outstanding across the board. Food and drinks at the pool and beach are excellent. A great location!!! read more
I literally cannot say enough positive things about this resort. I hate traveling. I hate hotels and being away from home. Rarely am I relaxed on vacation. I just sort of put up with being away from home to get to experience things. I felt this way until after the front desk welcomed me. Within about 5-10 minutes of being greeted at this resort, I fell in love with the Seafire. We had a terrible morning trying to get from JFK to Grand Cayman and I was a frazzled mess. The staff greeted me with a smile, a glass of champagne, the best tasting juice for my exhausted and crabby boys, and a room that was ready for me to walk into at 12pm (and an upgrade to boot). They seriously made my day (or week). The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous and spotless. The front desk staff are kind and efficient. They give you a little tour and then off to your room. The room we got was beautifully decorated, just spacious enough for 4, and most importantly, spotless. I am picky about my hotel cleanliness (I really haven't found a hotel that lives up to my standards). I have a child with severe allergies, so I have to wipe down hotel rooms when we arrive. I see dirt that most people don't see. Our hotel room at the Seafire didn't have any unseen dirt that I could find which immediately made me relax. The bathroom was huge for hotel standards and I was happy. There are many things you do not need to bring to the Seafire if you are trying to save on luggage weight. Unless you have super sensitive skin like I do, you do not need, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or sunscreen. They supply all of that in great quantity. You can also purchase spray Sun Bum sunscreen in spf 30, 50, and 70 for about $17 at the gift shop downstairs. Found this out when we ran out about half way through our trip. They have bug spray too and you WILL need that for the evenings. It is a tropical island afterall. The staff all over the resort was nothing short of amazing. Super helpful and friendly. They weren't intrusive, but were more than happy to chat with me when my family had disappeared off on some 2 hour watersport adventure (non motorized water sports are included with your stay) and I was feeling chatty and lonely. The beach was amazing. Clean with clear gorgeous water and plenty of space. The beach chairs and beach service (drinks, food, etc) were amazing. The staff even altered one of my dinner reservations from the beach when we realized that we hadn't eaten lunch until almost 2pm and would not be hungry for our early dinner reservation. We ate breakfast at Ave and The Pantry (a grab and go type market) and both were fantastic. Ave has a buffet and a la carte menu. Every server was super on top of asking about allergies as well. Important since 2 of us have food allergies. We didn't have any issues here. We had planned to only spend 2 full days on the resort grounds (other than nights etc) and probably only eat there 2 times. However, once we arrived, we pretty much never left. We ate one lunch off in town and left the property to explore for 1 day plus 2 excursions. Those were great, but we all pretty much couldn't wait to get back to the resort from the moment we left. I have never talked about planning a return vacation while I was still on vacation until I visited the Seafire. I am already dreaming of our next visit and wished we lived closer so that we could go more often. Well worth the visit to this resort. read more

5 stars on all aspects of the resort. Ambiance, service and food are all beyond expectations. Highly recommend for a memorable vacation or business trip. read more
Great place. We came here for our "mini moon" weekend getaway and had nothing but good experiences here. The room was impeccable. We were fortunate enough to get a room on the 10th floor (the highest floor on the entire island!!) With a great view of the ocean, island and sunset at night. They serve complimentary coffee from 6-10 every day. Additionally, they offer a daily happy hour from 5-6 where they serve complimentary red and white wines and a light snack. They have lots of snack offerings for kids and overall the hotel seems very kid friendly. They have a pool table in the main entrance area, ping pong tables close to the pool and a volleyball net on the beach. If you have the time, check out the spa. Our couples massage was amazing. There's a bar nearby called "Calico Jack's" that serves great drinks at a slightly cheaper price with a very down to earth atmosphere. I highly recommend staying at this resort. read more
Beautiful property by Seven mile beach area, outdoors are immaculate. Beach is clean and inviting to jump into the crystal clear water. I share the positive reviews of others - until the day we left. After spending US $26,000 with the resort for a 1 week stay, they could not grant us a TWO hour later checkout. Very disappointing. Next time we will stay at the Ritz Carlton. read more

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The service was unreal starting with champagne and fudge at check in, a free lunch since our room was not ready, passed popsicles and frozen grapes at the pool every day, special treats at meal time, the list goes on. Every single staff member learned our names and treated us like royalty. I have never experienced such great service. And the resort and rooms are just beautiful. If you want luxury this is the place to go. read more
This resort gets FIVE stars. From the moment you walk in and receive a welcoming drink to each and every staff personnel ensuring that all is well during your stay. The beachfront grounds are beautiful and the food is pretty good too. If I had to complain it would be that there was construction going on next door, aside from that.. the place is beautiful. I recommend the ceviche and the kale salad at the Cocoloba bar near the beach! They offer free group workouts each morning and the also have a gym and Spa. They even offer a kids camp you you decide the bring the family. read more

This resort is amazing. Extremely clean which is so important these days. Amazing staff, everyone and I mean everyone from the time you arrive at the resort until you leave, you are treated like family. Our room/suite was amazing and the views of the ocean was priceless. So many people made our stay wonderful. Carlo the front manager and all of his front desk staff (too many names to remember) but everyone of them were truly amazing! Imron, Chris, Musa and Special along with a few other bellman were very friendly and always offering assistance. All of the restaurants had great food and the friendliness of the staff was truly unforgettable. Wendy at CocoaLoba was so friendly and we loved having her as our waitress. We had many great conversations, we will miss her. We enjoyed the lobby coffee shop as well, each morning we had an iced latte. I highly recommend trying the bacon pretzel cookie bar! We will miss EVERYONE! Thank you guys for being the best!! We will be back and hope to see everyone of you still there! read more
Hotel experience is way beyond what you expect. The first arrival at the property will be just stunning. The staff is all over you with respect and they are gracious to see you. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a view to die for. The pool and beach does not disappoint. From the morning set up by the pool and beach staff, and all day how they make sure your all good and well taken care of. 5 Stars is an understatement, I almost want to keep this a secret but I can't. Be prepared it's pricey but I would pay double. I'm a customer! read more
Great hotel but my room was not complete upon my arrival. I expected more after spending $1,400 for three days here. The bed was missing pillows, towels were missing and a dirty rag was left in a bathroom sink. There was also broken glass on my carpet and I cut my foot as a result. I asked the cleaning staff to clean and replace missing things in my room and after they removed the bed sheets, the previous guest had left a "spot" on the bed pad which they replaced. Just about everything that could go wrong with my room did. Also, if you get a room on the west side where they are building the Four Seasons Hotel, be prepared to be awoken by construction and a rooster that crows every morning and won't stop until the afternoon. Annoying as *** The hotel and service was fabulous but for the amount I paid I expected more value. I'm normally not this critical of a hotel but I am glad I didn't have to pay full price since I was part of a wedding party. Note: I would definitely recommend the hotel for a wedding. The event planner, photographers and videographer did an amazing job for my youngest brother and his wife and accommodated us all in a pinch after it rained. They got us on the beach quickly after the rain for the wedding ceremony, dinner and after party. read more

Top notch service. The entire staff was welcoming, helpful, attentive which made the experience worth the cost. The hotel pool and grounds are amazing. The hotel room was fantastic only missing feature was a soaking tub. The in room dining experience was wonderful and they even set up a table on the balcony for us. The only thing that was lacking to make it a 5 star experience was the breakfast buffet. It was 3 star: not enough variety from day to day and the food was just okay. For $40 I was expecting more. I loved the hot cocoa stand offered in the mornings. We would recommend this hotel Over and over again. It's romantic and kids friendly. There were not many kids during our stay. Probably because It's NOT a cheap option. read more

This resort was wonderful! It was my 2nd time to grand cayman, and my husbands 3rd time (previously we stayed at the Marriott). We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and the resort put champagne and strawberries in our room and gave us free champagne with dinner whenever we dined on the resort. The beach was beautiful and it wasn't crowded at all (Dec 2017). We snorkeled a lot so we really appreciated that the snorkel gear was included in the resort fee (we stayed at the Westin for half our trip and they charged daily). One of the nights we ate at Ave, and the other night we ate at Avecita (both on site). If you eat at either, ask if Carl can be your server. He is very entertaining and has the most interesting life story :) read more

We didn't stay here (opting instead for an airbnb on the other end of the island) but, if I was visiting Cayman again, and looking to stay in the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach.... I'd definitely be picking the Kimpton. We had dinner reservations at Avecita (not on Yelp) so I'll be reviewing it here, and we're completely blown away by the property. Valet was friendly and definitely gave a great initial impression. Walking inside and out to the restaurant we were both even more impressed. Definitely a well built resort with all the attention to detail, for a very classy upscale feel. Avecita was wonderful. Loved the open concept, combined with shared dining, though no one was ever sat with us. The staff, from our server, food runner, drink runner, etc, were literally all amazing. Very personable, and we walked away feeling like we had new friends. The sommelier was also wonderful, and he recommended a Rioja that we fell in love with! For food, we tried a little bit of everything, as we do. The modern twist on the olives was quite exciting. As was the lamb tartare. The octopus in the corn mousse was a must order. And we much enjoyed one of the specials that evening. And left no room for dessert lol. read more

Upon arrival to hotel, everyone from the maids to the concierge were friendly and happy. At check in, we got upgraded to a beach bungalow and we were blown away. They even had a little charcuterie plate and bottle of champagne waiting for us. Try to book this resort with ihg card/points. This hotel definitely goes above and beyond for ihg members. read more
