The best description is to think of the more abundant in number Asian oriented markets in our area and their wide vareity of interesting and unusual foods over a very wide array of varieties and then to imagine if that were a European (Eastern and Western) version of the same. That is what Eurostor is like. Accompanied by a deli case for some prepared options to go. There is no seating area for dining on the premises. This is more of a grocery store. I did not purchase anything due to time and being overwhelmed, but hopefully some photos will help be to research some options to target on a return visit. I would imagine also, if you are from EU and expat here in Greenville, this would be a very exciting store to visit and a reminder of home.

This is the Asian market that I normally "shop" at due to convenience and location being on the…read moreeast side of Greenville and close enough to where I do other errands. It's up in a small strip mall further north on Haywood Road from Haywood Mall or across the strip from off Orchard Park Road from where Outback Restaurant is. It's not large but has all the dry staples, so many choices of rice (white, brown, sushi, sweet, etc), noodles, etc. It also has the frozen section that extends one entire wall and one of those freezer chest for the dumplings, pre-made food. The other side has the fresh vegetables and also packaged tofu, mushrooms, noodles, quail eggs, etc. I haven't gotten anything from their seafood area which one staff is there for the fish and stuff. I will go periodically to get rice noodles and glutinous rice flour. With Honey's food allergies (gluten and dairy) fortunately asian food have plenty of options but you still have to know which things do use wheat like most of the frozen dim sum yummies that I'll get for me and other family member still at home who clearly like those buns as much as me. So check the ingredients. Because it is Chinese/Lunar New Year, I will be making some CNY Sticky Rice Cake. Honey uses the same glutinous rice flour in a treat he makes for cycling fuel so figured I'd pick up a bunch. It makes me chuckle when I do, because at least movies I've seen, those packages looks like a drug issue . . But we do need to watch sugar consumption. Fun part is coming up with different dish for the Chinese New Year celebration which lasts for a couple weeks and eating . Photos showed two of our dinners and opting to reduce carbs. CNY Eve we had noodles (not pictured) that included veggies, chicken and long rice noodles representing longevity, NY night for rice cake noodles with beef, then fish ball and cake soup since was chilly. And pot stickers, baked beef bun (they sell lots of other choice), and will do the egg tart tomorrow. This isn't the nicest one I've been to, but maybe because I haven't been out as much during pandemic seems to be not as cluttered, more spacious. Masks are required and staff are wearing masks and gloves. There was hand sanitizer at the checkout line.

My staples here are fresh baby bok choy, lemongrass, soy sauces (of which they have several dozen varieties), straw mushrooms, ramen (several varieties as well), various sauces, etc. There are also some items such as teapots and cooking utensils, etc. This trip we wanted to get some canned quail eggs to make pickled spicy quail eggs. They had run out of these, but wait!, they had fresh quail eggs and we used them! The only thing that they don't have here is any live or fresh fish. Another market in town has a fishmonger in the market with both fresh and live fish, but they also have a restaurant. This is conveniently located and I would not hesitate to recommend them for their variety and interesting ingredients.

Be advised that the stew contains bones from the meats. The stew has a Smokey flavor, the orange slices are traditional to cut the richness of the stew by contrast with citrus and the collards are shredded and sautéed with garlic. The store is very clean. There are lots of Brazilian food options, even cases of guarana antartica canned soda. There is also a refrigerated case for meats, dairy and treats in addition to the dry goods and the fresh bakery items. This is a fun store. The manager also said they do a daily lunch plate every weekday that is $14 per plate, pre-portioned out but reportedly a good sized serving. I will need to give this a try.

I ordered a guava and cheese stuffed "taco" but the shell is made from a gummy style dough. I forget the name of it. And I ordered a fried dough stuffed with chicken. Both were so good and my friend got their sandwich. I can't wait to come back as their lunch deals look amazing. They also have a Brazilian market here and I picked up a hot sauce and a garlic sauce. I have never had garlic sauce before and wow, life changing. The hot sauce was also fantastic. Our waitress was so sweet and her and my friend chatted in Portuguese for a bit and she also spoke terrific English. I will be back! There's plenty of tables for dining and plenty of parking!

Let me say, everyone in my group was surprised by the variety available. We are all from NYC and know our way around ethic/international grocery stores. Radha beats out any store in major cities with its organization and insane variety spices, rice, ghee, papadam (microwavable versus frying variety). We kept to our mission of our three items and left. But for my one friend who is relatively local, he was very happy with this discovery.
