I've never had any dealings with Kimbro Towing before this incident- this was actually my first time ever bypassing my insurance to call a tow service directly. The situation was urgent: my daughter was stranded in downtown Atlanta at midnight. When I reached out to other towing companies, I was told it would take hours for help to arrive. That's when I tried Kimbro. DeMarcus showed up in less than an hour. More than just towing her car to a repair shop, he waited with her until her Uber arrived, making sure she was safe the whole time. I'm genuinely impressed by the care and speed of their service. I waited on this company for fours and they never picked up my vehicle. I called them at least once an hour and the arrival time and location of the driver changed each time. At some point I asked the dispatcher if he could just be honest with me about the arrival time because I really needed to use the restroom and all of the businesses around me had closed. The dispatcher, whose name I think was Derek told me "that he wasn't the reason that my car needed and tow and it wasn't his problem". After that call I knew that no one was coming; so I contacted my insurance company to make sure that he didn't get paid and I slowly drove my car to a nearby tire repair shop. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use this towing service based on their poor service and lack of empathy for a woman stranded on the road in the middle of the night. read more

I wish that I can give zero stars. This is the worst tow experience I have ever had! We have been on the side of ice 75 one of the busiest interstate in the state of Georgia for over three hours, waiting on a tow and never received any information as to what the delay was. DO NOT USE. State Farm Roadside assistance called these clowns and I waited 5 hours . Never came. I decided to uber it and leave car. They told me to NOT LEAVE a KEY and to LEAVE car unlocked. This company needs to be more professional and have customer service. A relative used their service for towing and the tow company took hours to come on top of that they did not follow the directions provided to dispatch. This tow company towed a car into my driveway (they were never instructed to do this) and damaged the driveway cement has yet to return any calls, emails, or requests for the damages to be fixed caused by the tow company. read more

After calling multiple other places who quoted me huge amounts. I was elated when Monique told me she can have Richard come out and help get my car out of the ditch for a fraction of the other road assistance prices. Monique was very professional and even called me back to make sure Richard made it there. Richard came in 30 minutes and was able to get my car out in less then 5 mins. I will definitely recommend using them for any road side assistance in the future. read more

I do not appreciate how I was handled by the customer service representatives I told them exactly what I needed an what was going on way before I made a payment and I was told that it was going to be ok and they had me. I needed my car towed to my house and i also stated that I needed a tow truck and someone that had a lockout kit. My key broke off in my ignition and someone tried to steal my car and I was told not to worry about it an they had my back. And I also told them that I needed to be let known 30 minutes prior to the tow trucks arrival so I can show proof the vehicle was mine and that never happened. The tow truck got there without the necessary tools to complete the job. and when I called the office back to inform them of the situation, I was told that I was going to get a refund nonetheless as I was calling back to check the status of that refund and get confirmation that I was going to receive my payment back due to lack of services being provided the customer service representatives completely stopped answering the phone and started hanging up in my face in conclusion. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I had a tire to blow out on the Interstate near College Park, Ga on Saturday, May 28, 2018. Luckily, on run-flats, I was able to drive the vehicle to a safe place, I happen to work nearby. I called my insurance providers roadside assistance and at 2:05 was advised that a tow would be available in 120 minutes. Although I believed this was a long time, I waited. When the driver arrived, at 4:13pm, I expressed to him it took a long time, he proceeds to say "someone has an attitude" in a very sarcastic voice and continues to mumble what I could make out as profanities under his breath. He then proceeds to ask me to open my trunk, where he began to rummage through my trunk looking for a tow tool. I asked him if I could remove some personal items as he was moving through all of my things. He gestured frustration again as I moved my items. The Insurance Company is now calling my phone with a prompted service for me to confirm that the service has arrived and ironically, asking me to take a survey, so I am on the phone as he is lifting my vehicle onto the flat bed of his truck. Once he finishes, HE DRIVES OFF WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. Didn't confirm where the vehicle was going or anything. I had to call the dispatcher who stated that he will call me when the car arrived at the destination. The dispatcher did not call me, the driver did, and once I confirmed my keys were left in the service drop box and said thank you, he hung up in my face. If I could give negative stars I would!!! Do not use this company. I was precharged $75 for a tow and it took the driver 5 hours to arrive. After arrival it toom the driver 3 hours to drop my car off at the mechanics. I was called out of my name by both management and the driver was told I would be charged more money because their driver got lost and that my car would be left on the side of the road.
