I was told my review of Jennifer Fox Weddings wasn't fair by the company, so I've taken some time…read moreto simply outline what occurred during my wedding weekend. I hired this company based on its positive reviews. This was my experience: * Hair and makeup setup requirements were not communicated to the hotel staff. Requests for chairs and mirrors were never relayed, and my mother had to scramble the morning of the wedding to accommodate everyone. * Room numbers were not provided to the hair and makeup vendors. I had to send that information myself. This included texts and calls the morning of my wedding! * My makeup artist got lost and attempted to contact our planner for assistance but could not reach her. I was the one providing directions and room information to the vendor over the phone on my wedding morning! * Our planner heavily emphasized the importance of managing guest allergies and told us she would personally check in with guests regarding accommodations before dinner. This did not happen. During dinner, two guests approached me at the sweetheart table asking whether their allergies would be accommodated. * Our planner arrived approximately 40 minutes- an hour late to the rehearsal on Friday. Because the venue was close to closing, we began without her, and I ended up running my own rehearsal and processional. (If i was a planner I would be 30 minutes early, on time is late. Being 30+ minutes late after the start time is unacceptable.) * I was immediately told by the planner that she had been downstairs attempting to gain access the entire time she was late. Based on information from members of our wedding party who were waiting for her, that was not the case. We had people waiting for her. We had a lost phone being found outside during that time. She was not there. * During our first dance, she was seated in the background next to the DJ, slouched over, visibly scrolling on her phone. The bright screen is clearly visible in our first dance video. * Throughout the weekend, I received multiple complaints about her from members of the wedding party. * There were repeated errors in the wedding timeline, which was not finalized and distributed until the day before the wedding. Too many things were cut too close to the final few days before. * When the timeline was finally sent, multiple family members contacted my husband and me because bridal party members had been omitted, times were incorrect, and other information contained errors. These are the events as I experienced them. Others may have had different experiences, but this was mine.

There were a few hiccups during the day of the wedding, but Charlene helped to take care of them and made sure the rest of the day ran smoothly. It took my husband and I a few months to decide whether or not we wanted a day of wedding coordinator, but we are so glad that we hired Charlene. Charlene attended our rehearsal dinner and she got to meet our families and our bridal party, so everyone was familiar with her the day of the wedding. Charlene helped to take a lot of stress off of me and my family the day of the wedding. My family was so happy that we had her help and that they could just relax and enjoy the day. Even after the wedding Charlene kept in contact with me and contacted our florist for me who had shorted us on a few corsages. I hired Tiffany as my wedding planner for my upcoming destination. Although my future husband and I are not getting married until February 2020, I have already seen the hard work that she puts into weddings. In this short time that we have been engaged, she has managed to help me locate a resort, wedding venue, provided several photographers for me to choose from, and has located a videographer. For all of these potential vendors she has secured their pricing and/or contracts and has been the main contact person with them. Essentially, I've had to do nothing. So far, this planning process has been easy breezy. But let's talk about my engagement party. My future hubby and I planned an engagement party in order for our families to officially meet. The party was everything!!!! Although not required, Tiffany managed to come to the party. Not only did she come, but she couldn't help but to make sure everything was in place and executed perfectly. This shows her dedication to her brides. In no way was she required to come to the party, but not only did she come, she made sure that I stayed stress free. Tiffany's level of professionalism is unprecedented. She makes her brides a priority and her ultimate goal is to execute beautiful weddings while keeping the couple happy and stress free. So far, she and her team have accomplished this beyond my expectations. I am so thankful to have her as my planner and am looking forward to this entire planning process.

As professional…read moredesigners and a relatively organized couple, we intended to take on the planning and coordinating ourselves, but came to realize how difficult that is to do remotely. A wedding coordinator is not an expense we initially accounted for, but once we met Erica, we knew we had to hire her. As a person, Erica is very sweet, clever, patient and grounded. As a professional wedding coordinator, she is very professional, experienced, accessible, communicative, helpful and reasonable. Even though we hired Erica as a day-of coordinator, she was responsive and helpful throughout the entire 10-month planning process. Any time I had a question, concern or was in need of a suggestion, Erica was there to respond to my late-night emails and last-minute phone calls. Because she has worked in the wedding industry for as long as she has, she knows so many talented and reasonably-priced vendors, which made her exceptionally resourceful to us. Erica was very flexible when it came to payments. We were able to schedule payment installations at our convenience, as well as pay with a credit card over the phone. Erica was especially devoted to us the week of our wedding, which we really appreciated. She willingly drove to our apartment in the city to pick up all of our decorations, which was incredibly helpful, considering we do not own a vehicle. And as for the day of our wedding: we couldn't have been more thrilled with what she did with everything we put so much love into making. Erica completely understood our vision from the start, and executed beautifully. She coordinated our large wedding parties seamlessly, and paced the entire day with little to no problem. We couldn't be more thankful for her help in making our wedding day the most memorable day of our lives. If you're in need of a day-of coordinator or wedding planner, Erica's your girl.
