Both the temp and the permanents had the backs of the new teeth also ground down. The Orthodontist stated the new teeth and permanents should not have been altered as they were. That the lower teeth needed some leveling to avoid the avenue of braces. And added they were surprised to see this was the new permanent crowns and not the temporary teeth with the condition they were in when I went to see him for the exam. In addition, have a four-tooth bridge with a large catch gap in the back since placement. If a tooth is ground down too far, she cannot cap it and must refer you elsewhere. When you complain about a problem Dr Wang said, " Well the other work I did is good its just those that are not good" WHAT? We just had another experience with my husband's crown falling out yesterday, after regluing the crown on after it came off last week. Dr. Wang said, "Well it was just one of five I did for you that was bad" and charged him for is last week. He walked out without service after the disagreement with Dr Wang yesterday and we will not return nor will I for any future service. Her Hygienist Sandy and staff are wonderful. I was actually preached at by "a wife of a service member", who supposedly knows better than a 21 year Veteran. I was informed that they take a "whole health" approach to patients but let's be real. You are only able to perform oral health issues. I needed a cleaning and that is it. If a surgery was needed later than I could understand divulging more, but that was not the case. These actions are highly discriminating and you should be concerned about their ethics.

I do want to share something important about my experience. I have a brain lesion, which affects my processing speed and speech. Because of this, I sometimes need a little extra time to understand and respond. Unfortunately, the doctor I saw was extremely rude and dismissive. He spoke very quickly, and when I was trying to process what he said about flossing, I began to explain that I struggle with hand coordination and use floss picks. He interrupted me and said, "Do I need to repeat myself again? REGULAR floss, nothing else." That moment was incredibly upsetting. It was one of the first times I've truly felt limited or dismissed because of my disability. At that point, I was already uncomfortable and ready to leave. He then went on to tell me that the treatment option I was considering was not something he would "let his family do," which felt condescending and unprofessional. After he left the room, I broke down in tears. Thankfully, the hygienist was compassionate and supportive, and I truly appreciated her care in that moment. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location. It's very unfortunate that such a caring support staff is overshadowed by a doctor who treats patients this way.

For someone who has affiliations with the Christian Medical and Dental Association(per his bio on the Gentle Dental website), he does not follow any Christian core values. I have no idea how he still has affiliations with any organization, because all of these reviews are accurate. He does not show any empathy nor does he care for his patients. Someone needs to reevaluate his position or he needs to go to therapy and remember that all his problems need to be left at the door. To Dr. Truman Seiler IV, it does not cost anything to be kind.
