Waited for 2 hours and 17 mins. to be seen, even w/an appt. When I finally was taken to a room, the…read moreasst. asked me what I was there for. I told her, an annual female physical exam, which is what I told the receptionist when I made the appointment and at that time was told, "Okay, we can help you with that." The assistant informed me that they did not do female exams there, but the doctor would be in very soon to talk to me. I waited in the room for another 40 minutes before going to the reception desk to see if anyone was coming in. I was told that they had allowed other patients to bring other people in as patients with them, so it had taken so long to get to me. Hmm. Okay, so the doctor comes in, tells me there was nothing he could do except give me a phone number to another place. Before I left he asked if he could pray with me. I agreed. What could it hurt? He said a prayer for me that I'd be more patient and not "jump down peoples" throats..." I thought about it and wondered why he'd say that. I guess because I had already waited over 3 hours and decided to ask what was going on and I corrected my name 3 times and asked them to change it, he considered that jumping down peoples' throats. I am a VERY soft spoken person & hardly said anything other than what I needed to. I suppose they are used to most patients not speaking English & not correcting anything or asking ANYTHING. Being in the medical field, I know that leads to errors. To sum it up, I was there for 3 hours and 25 minutes and they didn't do anything for me except insult me and didn't even refund my money after telling me they misinformed me.
