She uses…read moremostly raw silk fabrics and the pieces are made to order (which is really the ONLY way you can get a corset that fits right). She has an overwhelming selection of fabrics and styles. She does things that remind me of baroque clothing (light colors and flowing silk fabrics) and some very romantic stuff with a darker side.
They are not cheap, but as a person who once spent $100 on a pre-made corset which NEVER fit properly (it was slightly too big and the material was too flextible...eventually the boning started popping out even though I only ever hand washed it), it actually makes sense to spend more to have a corset that fits right and looks good, in the colors that you want. I imagine that most people will only ever buy one corset, like one beautiful bag or nice coat. so then it makes sense since it should last a lifetime. ---edit--- you may possibly need more than one in a lifetime. A friend of mine was visiting and thought this made a great souvenir. She made an appointment for the measuring and to pick the fabric/style/details and her corset was ready within 10 days so she could take it home with her. This shop is such a unique piece of Berlin fashion!
