What an awesome daycare! My daughter was here for about 4 months - decided to pull her out because my MIL wanted to play a bigger role in her care. I cannot recommend this daycare enough! The facilities are immaculate (always very clean and a huge outdoor playground), creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and play. The live video feed is a great perk - I had the capacity to view my daughter at the daycare at any time I wanted via an app. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the well-being of each child. as a parent, I have complete peace of mind knowing they are in such capable hands. Thank you to the wonderful team for providing such exceptional care! read more

I'm beyond blessed to have found this daycare center. My daughter started coming here when she was a year and a half she graduated this summer at five years old. The beautiful growth and development of my children has been in large part of the staff and families of Kids Zone. Every single teacher treats your child like their own. They offered parents the peace of mind with cameras in every classroom that you can preview from an app on your phone at all times. They do a great job at keeping the center very clean. We will miss Kids Zone deeply. read more

Kidszone was the best decision I have ever made when it was time to send my child at the age of 2 he stayed until he was 5 ! If you are thinking where to send your child you should not look anywhere else join Kidszone preschool Academy! You will love the community, communication and being able to check in on your child anytime of the day. read more

This review is long overdue. My daughter loved her time at kidszone. I loved how clean, organized, and new the facility was. My daughter started when she was 13 months and I loved I was able to watch her anytime of the day on live-stream, which a lot of daycare centers don't provide. During her time there she went from the infant room , then red, to lastly the blue room. When she was in the blue room I noticed a great improvement in my daughters behavior and attitude thanks to Miss joy in the Blue room. Miss Joy updated bright-wheel daily around the clock with real-time photos of their activities, outdoor play, and even their meals. Getting photos of my baby during her day made me so happy. I was happy to have miss joy and see the positive improvements she was making, Especially with my baby. I appreciated her going the extra mile for parents with the moment to moment updates. She loves children & loves her job & idk about you but that's the type of childcare provider I want caring for my baby lol. While we had to depart kidszone due to my daughters school schedule I would definitely bring my daughter back if we were closer. read more

My almost 3 year old has been going to Kidszone since he was 6 months. The teachers and staff are exceptional and have fostered a nurturing yet educational environment. He has been ahead in many milestones and I attribute a lot of that to what he has learned at Kidszone. An added bonus is the live streaming access so you can check in on your little ones throughout the day. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

My son loved kidszone! He started when he was 15 months and he has learned SO MUCH since being there and he absolutely loved his teachers. He knows over 100 words by 2 years old, and is super well adjusted and ahead of a lot of his peers. I can't recommend this daycare enough! I loved getting the daily pictures in the app, and occasionally checked in on him on the live feeds to see what fun he was getting into :) Highly recommend Kidszone! read more

I highly recommend this business for your childcare needs! The teachers and staff are personable, supportive, & really work to support the "whole child." My daughter grew socially & academically while under the supervision of her teachers - Ms. Amelia & Ms. Leslie - they are superb! The school is clean & colorfully decorated, has passcode protected entry, ample parking, a fully scheduled day, & camera access via an app - so you can check in on your child throughout the day. read more

I have been familiar with this preschool for 2 years. The owner Ms, Yvonne is the best influence and mentor for my child. Thank you Ms. Yvonne & company for being a great second family to daughter!!! read more

Please do not take your children here. From 8-6 pm they only take the children outside to play 25-30minutes the whole day!! There are no windows and ventilation. Everything is so enclosed. Not for children, especially babies and toddlers. They need more outdoor play to burn their energy. Also my 2 year old put her shoe on wrong, she was crying the whole time until my mother got there and noticed the shoe was on the wrong side. Please look at reviews before paying a 350 deposit. My daughter literally went for 8 days and thank god the school by my house was taking openings. That school is amazing! Unfortunately I never got a refund on deposit Eden though my child only attended for a week. read more

Beautiful space ran buy an Amazing owner and staff. I'd recommend this to all the family's of the Pasadena community and beyond !!

My daughter is 16 months & it was her 1st week of Preschool at KidsZone this week. My daughter hasn't slept in her crib since 12 months b/c it's been a constant battle trying to train her. After 5 days attending KidsZone she FINALLY slept in her crib 2 nights in a row & also took her 2 naps this weekend. I'm truly AMAZED on the work, time, & patients that her teacher & owner has trained my daughter w/ self soothing on how to sleep in the crib for naps. My daughter was definitely a hand full these past 5 days. My husband & I FINALLY got to sleep comfortably together in bed w/o feeling a hit or kick to our face lol.. This place is brand new, very clean, neat, & everything is new. All the staff are super nice & friendly. They sanitize everything throughout the day, which I'm so big on b/c I'm a nurse. Also every kid has to remove their shoes when they enter the classroom & the parents have to wear shoe covers as well which I also love. Place feels safe & what I love most is they provide a video camera in your child's class, so you can plug in anytime their there & they also take pictures where you can log in & see what your kid is doing to feel at ease. You can also call to check status of your kid. Prices are very affordable, better then if I were to pay my babysitter M-F F/T. They also give referral fees for those who enroll which is also amazing! We're blessed to have found this place where our daughter can learn, grow, & interact w/ kids. I love how patient & understanding they are towards my daughter. Everything I mentioned above is awesome b/c at least I know I'm investing in my daughters future & I know where my money is going towards. KidsZone Preschool Academy y'all Rock!! read more

My daughter has been attending Kidszone for approximately one year and we love it. The instructors are very attentive to the kids, the facility is always super clean, and my husband and I can use the Watch Me Grow app to video stream throughout the day. Most importantly, they have an amazing curriculum that fosters advanced learning and even potty training. My daughter's development is outstanding, thanks to the team at Kidszone! read more

As a qualified teacher I was looking for a preschool teacher position because all schools are closed at the moment. I've received many invitations to tour and possibly take a job position at many preschools. I decided I would go to all my appointments and ask for a tour of them. As I pulled up to kids zone academy I was pleased to see a large parking lot with plenty of parking, this may seem small but as a parent I know how important it is to have easy access to parking. I was greeted by Yvonne Withers the owner of the facility. She properly assured I was safe to come into her facility with a temperature check and we both wore face mask. I immediately noticed how clean and beautiful this facility was. All staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. As the tour went on she spoke with passion and great knowledge about teaching, students said hello, and she acknowledges all of them with a kind hello, staff and students seemed to be engaged in fun creative activities. The classroom were purposefully equiped with high quality toys and furniture which I usually don't see. I was excited about this because as a teacher having quality materials is key to effective care. The bathrooms were extra clean and you can see the extra safety processing bc of this pandemic. The outdoor play area looks inviting with shade and plenty of space, green grass floors and great outdoor playground. The tour was fun and interesting with MS Whiters you can tell she takes pride in providing the best care for families. Positivity is so important especially nowadays. Staying open and having such high standards for families is what teachers like to see. I know this is long but I want families to have a sense of what I felt being at this facility. Any child that gets to participate in this program will truly be in safe loving hands. Take a chance and definitely visit this program it's a true diamond. Thank you Yvonne Withers for your help. read more

We LOVE KidsZone Preschool Academy! I have an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development and a graduate degree in Education Administration and am very picky about where I would send my child for school. We toured many preschools and from the moment we toured KidsZone, we knew this was THE place we wanted to send our child. I nearly cried when there was a spot for him and it's been a dream having him there ever since. Our teachers, Ms. Amelia and Ms. Roseann are absolutely wonderful. He makes crafts, has learned songs and motions, and has learned to write his name and write letters and numbers. But really, the best part has been seeing our son so happy each day and feeling so self confident. We couldn't be happier! Thank you ZidsZone for the beautiful experience our son has had there! read more

We love this preschool/daycare. It was our first and best experience. Our daughter had visited it for almost one year untill we moved out to other city. Teachers are very friendly with kids. There are a lot of different activities and toys. And they regularly bring smth new for kids, like drums, football gates, etc. We really liked the possibility to see our kid in real time via webcam. They have great curriculum and do art, music, stories, words, numbers, shapes, colors, and a lot more. They have outdoor playground for smaller and bigger kids. Owner is very caring and lovely, kids adore her! read more

KidsZone Preschool Academy - Great Preschool!!! - Preschools Near Me - Pasadena, California

I was thrilled to find a preschool just a few minutes away from our home, and my son seemed to enjoy his time there. However, my experience with the daycare quickly became a nightmare, and I regretted enrolling my son. While Ms. Emani was a wonderful teacher who deserved better than this facility, the preschool fell short in several ways. Despite witnessing a teacher countless times in the Red room (Ms. Maegan) on camera aggressively snatching up children and pinning them to the floor out of frustration (I have the dates and times documented for camera footage review to ensure I'm not making this up- she never handled my son like this, ever. She said he was her favorite!) I did not report it to the owner, Ms. Yvonne. Additionally, my son's belongings were constantly being used on other children, and I would bring a box of diapers and wipes that should have lasted at least a month, but they would be gone within a week. To make matters worse, I was forced to pay a $500 annual fee in December (in which my son was enrolled) and another $500 annual fee in January, (can't remember the exact amount but I paid them twice within a month's time frame) only for teacher (Joy- who was not my son's teacher) from the Blue room to wrongfully hand my son over to a DCFS worker. I asked her, "did she provide you with a court order?" Joy's response was "no she didn't but she told me everything and she said you knew who she was!" This woman was so excited like she had just received some gossip for the day. Like, absolutely messy and full of drama!! She was happy to tell me this not knowing she broke several laws along with the DCFS worker. I told Ms. Yvonne prior to enrolling my son that unfortunately, my family was being targeted by DCFS due to an ongoing investigation with the state that my family and many other mothers who gave birth at a birthing center two years ago filed about discrimination, retaliation and racism from the Pasadena office in which she ensured me--my son would be safe. Unfortunately due to abuse and neglect, some parents need DCFS intervention in their lives---anyone can look at my son and know WE obviously don't. She did ask me, "what happens if they find out where he goes to school?". Clearly the staff here are not knowledgeable on the laws of the land and will allow anyone to come into their center with a DCFS badge to take a child!! This was WILD! My son also attended another daycare in the area who knew the law and refused to allow DCFS to detain my son and failed to provide any information to them about my family, so they simply came to Kidszone and took him. This daycare did not contact me until, Joy called me to inform me that she gladly handed my son over to DCFS. This was the same teacher who always went out of her way to tell me how "happy, friendly, and entertaining" my son was. I felt her phoniness from a mile away, which is why I never engaged with her. Once my son was released from DCFS, Ms. Yvonne refused to give me back any of the annual fees and claimed that my son's spot had been taken, which shocked me. No one from this preschool even called me to ask what was going on or if he would be returning before filling his spot. Although calls were made to Kidzone and voicemails were left about my son's return. Ms. Yvonne stated "they hadn't received any calls before 5pm of canceling his care, which obviously was not true. I was slightly annoyed because mindyou-- Ms. Yvonne didn't even have a teacher for the red room when I came to tour the school prior to enrolling my son. God knows I sincerely prayed for her business and she texted me within two weeks to tell me she would be opening up the classroom because she found a teacher. I was so happy for her! It was am answered prayer!!So, I decided to enroll my son here after all because he was already set to attend another school on Lake. I have to admit my husband strongly advised me not to enroll him here and did not support my decision to do so. This saddened me, because again Ms. Yvonne appeared to be an integral woman. I would never try to tear down another black woman! But obviously my husband was right. I had hoped to support another black woman with Ms. Yvonne's business, but her lack of ethics and integrity was disappointing. Ms. Yvonne only seemed to care about money, and it was evident in her decision to allow a drop-in program for random children to come in and out shortly after accepting the annual fee from her regular FT parents. Her teachers looked stressed and overwhelmed on camera with the increase in the number of children in the classroom. I would not recommend this preschool to anyone. There are other schools in the area with more competent, qualified teachers that also use a streaming service and allow children to go outside and play in nature throughout the day. I'm happy that I ended up enrolling my son in a much better school nearby, where he is now learning Spanish and Mandarin from experienced educators. read more

My son has been at KidsZone for almost 9 months now. Everything is new, clean, and state-of-the-art. The teachers are excellent--patient, caring, and fun! The owner Yvonne is helpful and thoughtful to your needs. It really is starting to feel like a family, even after being open for just a few months. I also love the app that allows me to watch my kid anytime. I am very confident in this daycare and happy that my son gets to experience such an enriched environment. I love seeing him thrive with his teachers and peers. Highly recommend read more

There is not enough words and space to describe, write and talk about  this magical and amazing place and its stuff! As a parent I want the best for my baby .It's been almost a year already my baby boy attends this wonderful school. I remember the first day when we came for the tour and everything started from there. The parking was very convenient and big and there is no cars around that will scare you to let your baby walk or run by the facility.( Why I'm saying that ,because my baby loves this place so much that every morning he runs towards the door and hugs the teacher) When I walk in first time I noticed that the place smells fresh and clean it felt like someone just cleaned it and now  I feel that every day . Then I met Yvonne! I will never forget her beautiful smile and warm welcome and willingness to help. She did the tour and explained everything very detailed and well. She showed me the rooms and introduced to the staff. They all were so friendly and sweet . Miss Cristina and Miss Aimy were our teachers so far and they are doing so well with the kids that sometimes I feelI I need to take a couple of lessons from them.  The place was so clean and neat that I couldn't believe it . I also saw the toys and the educational things that they used. They were high quality toys. I had never seen any place before which amazed me.Next was the bathroom for the kids, I was absolutely amazed and surprised . It was so clean and neat ,honestly I don't have my bathroom as clean as theirs:)very convenient for little ones. I got all the paperwork and couldn't wait for the next day for my little guy to start school. . Least but  not last Miss Yvonne told me that they have watch me grow App and the brightwheel . Teachers communicate with the parents every time and send pictures and make me more happy. Me and my husband can see our baby from our phones or any other devices anytime I like to see how he's doing and growing. That was the most amazing thing that I have now and even on camera You could see how caring and loving the teachers are.At the nap time when someone isn't sleeping or feeling well they hug ,pat and rock them. It's just the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Now with the covid precautions I feel even grateful that I found them, they remain open and as always you can see someone consistently clean, clean, and clean. The most important for me now they have the screening test which we need to feel out everything starting week,if your child has fever or not feeling well or has a runny nose they don't except until the child is symptom free and it is the important because the child who is sick will not spread even the minor cold. I am so agree with them .I understand  it's a lot of writing but I think this is important to share because one year ago I was looking the yelp to find the place that I will like and trust, because it is not for me it is for the baby who needs the best care which  I choose, for my baby it's gotta be perfect ,I know there is nothing perfect, but this place is perfect. It is fine for me if something isn't ok with me ,but I'm a crazy mom when it's related to my child. He needs the best care which provides" Kids zone Academy" and Yvonne and her amazing crew !   % read more

My daughter is currently attending this preschool, she started at her 20 months and this is her first experience. First of all the school is new, opened just few month ago in April 2019. It's very clean, all the toys, carpets and furniture are new too and selected with heart and mind. Comparing to other daycares I visited, all of these were a bit worn-out. The staff is keen on cleaningness. Kids are shoes off in the rooms, which I like. Teachers wear shoe covers. Staff is very friendly, greatly patient and devoted to their job. (I don't possess the patience they have to pick up toys and put them on their place again and again, so I end up with the floor full of toys mess, and they don't) and I think my kid became more organized too. She comes home and plays herself a lot, when before that she constantly needed my attention and involvement. I like how they care about kids, how they do artworks, learn and play with them. I think my kid likes this preschool too, though she can't say it herself yet. I understood it from the first visit, when she happily entered the room and started playing with the teacher and stayed with her, while I was touring other rooms. It has never been in any other daycare we visited, she either cried or sticked to me. Due to their opening they have great deals on tuition. I also liked that they are available for a tour almost anytime unlike others where you are on a wait list just for a tour. They also have a good web site, with all the information and options. And based on this informations seems like they have big plans on further growth and enhancements. Most daycare websites I've seen are outdated and don't have online services, like schedule a tour, so you need to call. Here I also received quick reply on any request. And what helped me a lot to adapt to the absence of my kid at home was online video streaming from the daycare. So you can see your kid any time. Perfect. I am happy so far with my choice and recommend this preschool to anyone who is in search. My Big Thanks to the staff. read more

I'm so glad that I found Kidszone preschool academy while looking for daycare. Not only is it close to home but the facility is clean, new, and tech savvy. I have peace of mind knowing that my baby is in a safe environment. After just two weeks there she started crawling, napping. Sitting up and being more active. I'm so happy with the staff and appreciate how well they interact with the babies. Yvonne has been great at addressing my as a first time parent concerns/ questions as well as keeping us parents up to date. As a parent it's hard enough to be away from your child, so one of the best perks are the cameras at Kidszone. Anytime I want to feel a part of my baby's day or want to check in I can easily do that. I love seeing how staff interacts with the kids and it also makes me feel good as a parent to see that my baby is happy and enjoying herself. I'm glad I found this preschool!!! Thank you to Yvonne, Ms. Liz, Ms. Mari, Ms.Zonia and the rest of the staff at Kidszone for giving my daughter the attention and care that she needs. read more

When we heard that a daycare/preschool was opening in our neighborhood, my wife and I did not waste a second and contacted Yvonne Withers, the schools coordinator/owner. We made an appointment to visit the center and were wowed by the attention to detail of every classroom and their playground. We read over their very reasonable contract and soon after we enrolled our 17 month old daughter. As first time parents, Kidszone (Jennifer, the center's Director) did a wonderful job explaining the routine to us. The fact that they have round the clock cameras that stream on a private app is amazing! At work, my wife and I often check in on our daughter on the app and are relieved and glad to see that her teachers are attentive and very much interactive. Kidszone also has another private app, similar to Instagram, where they post pictures and videos of your child for you to comment on. It's wonderful because we get to see our daughter "hard at work" painting away, coloring, "reading" and playing with her other daycare friends. Honestly, we are thrilled that our first experience with childcare has been so positive. The best part of it all is that our daughter is being mentally and creatively stimulated with the projects and arts and crafts she takes part in almost every day. Our fridge is running out of space! We most definitely recommend this center! read more

My son has been at this amazing new school for a month now- he is 9 months old and in the awesome infant room. He is physically super ahead of his age and this school and their activity schedule has done WONDERS for him- he absolutely loves it. When I put him down in the mornings he literally laughs and smiles and races up to miss Carla with so much excitement. The teachers are all so patient- and I can tell because they have cameras on all the rooms so we can check in on him when we miss him. The best thing besides the teachers and the amazing lady that runs it Yvonne, is how incredibly clean they keep it. It's spotless and they have someone full time to keep it that way all day long. It's cool to be some of the first students at this incredible new school- I hope more fun smilies join us and we create an awesome little Kidzone community :) read more

We are so lucky that we found KidsZone for our 17-month-old son! We toured several daycares and KidsZone was the only one my husband and I agreed on about halfway through our tour. The facility is brand new and IMMACULATE and I always see someone cleaning during drop-off/pick-ups. They have a HUGE outdoor play area with plenty of shade and really nice equipment. All the rooms have been decorated and organized with care and attention. You can tell the director Yvonne has poured her heart and soul into this place and it shows. Our son loves all his teachers and after being at school for about a month we can already see how quickly he is progressing developmentally. The staff is great about keeping us posted on how his day went, how much he ate/played/etc. I know he's in good hands :) KZ also uses Watch Me Grow, a streaming video service, which means I can check in on little one anytime throughout the day. It puts me at ease and Grandma and Grandpa are also obsessed with it. Major selling point! Of all the parenting decisions one has to make about quality childcare, KidsZone was by far the easiest :) read more

It was a very long and difficult journey finding a school for my toddler. He had just turned 3 in April and it was time for a school that could give him more structure. So many schools take you on a tour and tell you all the things they have to offer, but ultimately fail you and most of all they fail your child. As a parent, I just wanted a school that had teachers who could give my son close to the same kind of care and love I give him. A school that offered the proper curriculum for his age. A school that was clean, organized and safe. Welllllll...I found all of that and more at KidsZone Preschool Academy! Yvonne, the owner gave us a tour and I was sold before we were even halfway through. Her energy and background are unmatched! The teachers she has on her staff are all amazing! Our son Graylen loves not only his teacher Ms Janet, who is a ray of sunshine and an amazing teacher, but all the staff. I sometimes forget they have cameras for the parents to watch, because I feel that comfortable leaving my son there. I literally can go on and on lol. If you are looking for a school for your child or children, look no further. WE LOVE YOU KIDSZONE! read more

My daughter is almost two, and my wife and I had to move her from the daycare she's been at since she was three months old into a new daycare closer to home-we were pretty nervous about the transition-and within days, it was like we didn't skip a beat. She felt at home with the teachers, kids and toys. She was excited to go to daycare and was happy when we picked her up. Her development continued and we couldn't have asked for much more. My now 8 month old son has been attending this daycare since he was 3 months old, and we couldn't be happier. His development is ahead of the curve, and the ladies that run the infant room are amazing. It's evident that everyone who works here genuinely cares about these kids. We are always greeted with a smile and all of the teachers know my son regardless of what room they teach in. They do all kinds of fun activities to engage each stage of development including art projects, reading, and outdoor time. The place is super clean, and I love that they have video monitoring that you can view as a parent. Often, they post pictures or videos of my little guy and his buddies on the app which is super cute. They also send me text messages updating me about my son. The hours of operation work well for my hectic job so I don't have to rush or worry about making it to pick him up on time. Miss Yvonne is always available, super easy to work with and has created a culture and program that I would recommend to anyone looking for a daycare program. read more

I was very nervous about finding the right child care for my son. I am so glad KidsZone Preschool Academy opened recently. We absolutely love this school. The staff are great, always friendly and you can tell they truly care about the children. My son loves coming to day care. He has learned a lot. During the COVID crisis, they, as many other businesses, have been hit hard. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for safe, quality child care. My daughter has been attending Kidszone for 8 months. She began when she was 15 months and she is now almost 2. I am 100% positive that her attendance here has had a positive impact on her development. She loves going and she often happily mentions her friends and teachers at home, which tells me she is forming positive relationships and developing social and langauge skills. There are so many things I love about this place. Just to name of few: Superb cleanliness; Caring and helpful staff; Diverse students and staff; Live-video streaming of classroom; Easy check in/out; Secure facilities; Simple communication system (messaging, photos, video through app). I am impressed with the level of care and am so happy I made this decision for my family. I just had to write this review. If ever your looking for a daycare /pre-school, well look no more! After a grueling search for the perfect day care for my my little princess, we finally found one....kidzone! was so perfect from the get-go! We met with Ms. Jennifer and right away we felt at ease. Ms. Jennifer gave the tour of their new facility, asked her our 21 questions and she answered it w/o even thinking about it. All the teachers (not babysitters) were so well informed and accommodating to our needs. My wife and I were at ease. First day of school, I got the first time parents jitters, I mean leaving your child with strangers gave me anxiety. We met the director (Yvonne),by the way nicest person in the world, and right away she reminded us of the length they went to have the security in place for our babies.. To finger print system to check your child in /out n the live camera in each rooms... I could watch my baby anytime I want, how awesome is that! Not sure about other day cares, but KIDZONE actually teaches your babies, they just don't watch them but actually teach them! With in a few days of school my baby was sleeping in her crib, covering her mouth when she coughs, became super social and actually listens to commands. I could go on and on how great this place is, but I just think you need to check this place out for yourself! read more
