He is a retired postal worker from what I remember and I can't remember her exact prior work experience, but it wasn't child related. The professionality was bad. At one point her husband took our son to the bathroom after our kids were running around in the hall. Less than a minute afterwards we followed them to see him holding our son standing up directly in front of him and facing the toilet to urinate but he said that our son told him he wanted to "poot". Our son wasn't fully potty trained yet and at that point didn't let us as his parents know when he needed to do a #2. Additionally he doesn't even use the word "poot". Needless to say, we never returned. We called afterwards to share our concerns but it was met with an abrupt silence and then lame excuses. I would not recommend this place to an enemy.

Due to the nature of my job I have to move which has been hard on my daughter to adjust. When Alexandria first attended Little Scholars Daycare she cried when I would drop her off and would not want to interact with the other children. But within the last year - she not only gets excited about seeing her friends but wants me to take her to the library to take out more books to read. Once we complete a book I have her draw me a picture about what she enjoyed in the book. Little Scholars Daycare has really put my mind at piece with the growth I have seen in my child. However, after the first day I was very happy with how the staff was with my daughter and helping her transition into the new setting. The daycare is a perfect fit for my children's needs. Here I am 2019 and I now have my second child enroll into Smarty Pants Daycare. Both my children love and loved the daycare. The teachers listen to your concerns and needs for your children and always address and answer any and all questions I have or had. They expose the children to art, music, reading, writing, math. Its such a great place. Im super impressed with the program and how much learning goes on there. Its not just naps and play time. Next year I will be enrolling my 3rd child. The staff is great, it nice, its clean and the all the children are happy there.
