They have fun side classes and my son brings home the sweetest stuff that he's worked on. My son comes home with great knowledge and the teachers communicate to me everything each day. The administrative staff is very unorganized. We signed our son up for their "extra" day camps and classes, only to find out he didn't get to participate in half of them. When you walk in to the classroom, kids are running circles around the staff. Every few days my son came home with a note saying he was bit, or hit with a toy or something. If you want your young ones to get something out of their daycare... go someplace else. After a year here they asked us to either go full-time or rearrange our schedule and split a full week with another family. Well, ok - we decided it wouldn't work. So we found a different place and our son is thriving!!!!! Learning manners, comes home so happy. NO INCIDENT REPORTS. But, this place just won't go away. They charged us $100 registration fee the week before we left and charged us a full 2 weeks tuition after we left. They wanted us to change our schedule - it didn't work out - so now they want more money. I'm warning you - we had multiple tuition hikes while we were there and they charge you 2 registration fees per year. $$$$ Invest in your child. The place we go now is less expensive and such a better organization.

WTM was the only one that talked about helping to teach our son how to be a "good" person rather than only focusing on skills, e.g. playing chess by age 2. The teachers in the toddler room have been amazing, my husband calls the lead toddler teacher "the toddler whisperer" because of her natural ability to handle all toddler situations and challenges. Our son has really bonded with the teachers because they put a lot of effort into understanding his individual needs. We love the fact that toddlers spend so much time outside and engage in variety of activities, from doing different types of art work, planting a garden, to enjoying picnic lunch every Tuesday in the summer. It's always a pleasant surprise when our son offers to help or says "thank you" when it wasn't solicited. That reinforces the fact that the teachers at WTM are putting as much effort into conveying the social norms and values as they do into teaching the skills. If you are reading this review you may be wondering (just like we were) about the best place for your child to begin their education. What do you look for? Will your child feel comfortable and welcome ? What can you expect from a Montessori education? This school had everything we were looking for and more. They offer morning and afternoon sessions and they offer both 3-day and 5-day programs. The class sizes are small and social and you likely won't find more caring and passionate educators than Miss Nora and Miss Susan. Plus, the tuition is affordable and some assistance is available. We are almost done with our son's first year and we are planning to enroll him for a second year in the fall. Our daughter will be going there, too - no doubt in my mind. You should know that this is a small school with a close-knit connection between children, teachers and parents and they ask for parents to play an active role in the school if you can spare the time. This isn't the "drop your kid off in the parking lot" kind of place and we love how our son has blossomed in the quiet and challenging environment under the Montessori philosophy practiced at Kinderhaus Montessori.
