Misty is nice and I'm sure her intentions are well. But when we first left our prior Day Care facility we did so because she was offering a flexibility that our past day care did not. That was the we could take our son to the day care and pick him up from the day care at any time of the day. This worked well for us because my wife is a nurse and I work at chemical plant so we both work about 3 or four days a week. We also own a construction company and our days off are filled with meeting and appointments. So the flexibility was very important to us. We agreed to put our son in Bright Stars and after a very short while after we received an "updated" check in/out policy. It stated children must be in by 9am. It stated no reason for the change nor did it apologize for any prior expectations that now would not met. Well we tried to maintain a relationship with Misty and Bright Stars but we just could not. The first slap to our face was bringing him in before 9am and finding out he didn't get breakfast. We obviously didn't want this to happen again so next time we called sometime after 8am and before 9am and asked if we brought our son in would he get breakfast. We were told no it is too late for breakfast. We asked if it would be okay to feed our son at home and be late. They responded Yes. So we fed him at home in exchange for him being a little late that time. Now today comes and once again it's between 8am and 9am so we go ahead and cook for and feed our son at home. We arrive around 9:15am and get told they cannot accept our son because we're late. I TELL yes I tell the staff that this is ridiculous, that we have to feed him every time we bring him after 8:30 or he won't be fed by them. They swear up and down they wouldn't let him go without breakfast. I explained to them that that was not the case last week when we brought him in before 9am and they explicitly told us he would eat yet the daily report card from that very day stated he didn't eat breakfast. I then explained that everytime we bring him too close to 9am that we have to make arrangements for him to eat either in our vehicle outside in their parking lot or at home. Either way it takes at least 20 mins to feed a child which would result in being a tad bit late. They stuck to their guns which I applaud but now we have to find another day care. Like I said before I didn't want to leave any negative review but changing their policy on us, not giving our son a breakfast, and being picky about pick up times has yielded this result. Thanks.

Reflecting back on the church as a whole, the teaching and worship were very Biblically based and theologically sound. The doctrine also seemed in line with God's Word. Bro. James Shamburger, who has recently retired from the pastorate there, was a true shepard of God's flock attending First Baptist. If you desire a Body of Christ who have a high appreciation for the traditions of Christendom, look no further. This is a great place to call home, spiritually speaking.

We had very high hopes for Kidz of Destiny. After three months we removed our child. The management…read morewas courteous and kind. There were a few things that went bad though. To start my child is very advanced and loves to learn. The teacher turnover ratio was extremely high. They couldn't keep teachers for my child's class. So transfers to and from multiple classes occurred each day. The class transfers went from the 18mo, 2yr, and 3yr old classrooms. We noticed odd behavioral changes way too often when he was in the 18mo and 2yr old classrooms. He enjoyed the activities and toys in the 3yrs old classroom though. The daily reports were late and often missing from the app due to the multiple class changes. I don't believe my child learned anything new and had a hard time wanting to stay. A teacher was transparent with us and mentioned that they had not been using the Frogstreet Curriculum due to the high turnover rate for teachers. Lastly, we started out autopaying monthly then weekly. The last month they only excepted cash. So it was a hassle having to remember to withdrawl cash every week. Hopefully, things have changed for the best. However, I wouldn't recommend this location for early learning.
